During this week’s International Indoor Championships IIC Protoform is testing a new and yet unnamed carpet bodyshell for 190mm sedans. Mounted to Juho Levänen’s Team Associated TC6.2 the body appears to be of quite an aggressive design with a large front splitter and a pronounced bumper, grille and headlight section. No official information are available yet but we keep you up to date as soon as they surface.

The latest addition to JConcepts Silencer line of bodyshells is a variant for Hot Bodies’ D413 4WD buggy. Using the distinctive Silencer design with a forward-biased cab, a dual channeling rear escape and a cockpit shark fin the JC body highly differs from the D413’s kit body to make for a totally different appearance. As usual the body comes clear, including window masks, a decal sheet and two 6.5″ Hi-Clearance rear wings.

WRC now offer a lightweight bodyshell for the F-One formula kit. Made from clear high quality material the body offers the same design as the current F-One shell but it is 20 percent lighter to save some valuable weight.

Made for HPI Racing’s Savage XL Octane and XL 5.9 is the GTXL-1 Vintage bodyshell. Resembling the look of 70’s and 80’s pick-up trucks the body is ideal to replace the XL’s standard body for something new and differently looking. Moulded from thick 0.040″ clear polycarbonate the body also includes a pre-cut vinyl decal sheet including headlights, grille, tail lights, official logos, window frames, door handles and more. Dimple marks for the Savage XL body post locations help to perfectly align the body on the chassis.

Team Muso have first prototype images of their forthcoming LM-P Type2 bodyshell for 200mm World GT cars available. Resembling the open cockpit LMP cars run at Le Mans and other races, the body not only fits World GT chassis but also 200mm F103-type cars and the like. JConcept’s IFMAR World Championship winning Hi-Clearance 1/10th buggy wing is now available as a drop-on fit for the RC10B5 and RC10B5M. Debuted at the 2011 IFMAR Worlds, the Hi-Clearance wing design has been used with success on medium to large sized tracks where fast, at-speed handling is required. Moulded in exclusive and durable polycarbonate, the wing features a beefy feel but light-weight enough to be considered a race wing. It comes pre-trimmed with clean, smooth edges and it is ready to become decorated or scuffed to your liking. The wing is available specifically drilled for the B5 or B5M.

New from Hupo Hönigl’s H-Speed brand come the Helex polycarbonate paints and a cyanoacrylate accelerator spray. Starting with the paint, it is available in 15 different colours, ready to use, fast drying, and fuel resistant. Its special formula makes it ideal for all polycarbonate and lexan bodyshells. Also new is an activator spray for cyanoacrylate glues such as the one used to glue rubber tyres. Using the spray further speeds up the bonding time for even quicker tyre gluing jobs.
