Pro-Line MBX-7 Phantom bodyshell

Seen in teaser form only days ago Pro-Line now officially introduce the Phantom design bodyshell for the Mugen MBX-7 buggy. Making use of the distinctive design elements first seen on the 1/10th buggy Phantom bodies, the 1/8th scale variant again makes use of an aggressively styled cabin and a flowing rear section that culminates in a single point in front of the shock tower. An optional add-on rear fin helps with straight-line stability both at highspeed and while jumping. The body is meant to make a first public appearance at this week’s ROAR Gas Offroad Nationals in Texas. Red RC is on site with a full coverage that can be found by clicking here.

JConcepts RB6 MM Silencer bodyshell

JConcepts introduce the Silencer bodyshell for mid motor converted Kyosho RB6 buggies. Sporting a totally different design compared to the stock Kyosho body, the Silencer is of a mild cab forward design with a cockpit shark fin, a dual channelling rear escape, clipped side pods with extended runners and an overall sleeker appearance. Included with the clear body come two Hi-Clearance rear wings, window masks and a small decal sheet.

Bittydesign Striker-SR 3.0 190mm body – Coming soon

Bittydesign announce the soon release of the Striker-SR 3.0 190mm touring car bodyshell. With the current Striker-SR 2.0 being quite a unique body with an aggressively shaped hood section and a short rear overhang the follow-up version again is expected to be Bittydesign’s most agile body with the Nardo and MC10 being the more conservative in terms of front end grip and overall body length. Bittydesign "hard wings" for 190mm touring car bodies

Bittydesign introduce their new “hard wings” for 190mm touring car bodyshells. Coming in the medium downforce Charge and high downforce Ultra Charge version, both are made from thick 1mm polycarbonate for maximised rigidity and improved downforce even in today’s ultra-fast modified racing. According to Bittydesign both wings are compatible with all 190mm TC bodies on the market and the wings are available now.

Pro-Line have just released this sneaky teaser image of their forthcoming Mugen MBX-7 body. Given some of the details visible the body will sport the distinctive and quite edgy “Phantom” design meaning it will very likely be a cab forward offering with an aggressively styled rear end and other performance enhancing aero gizmos. Protoform VRS-N 200mm nitro touring car body

Protoform introduce the VRS-N 200mm nitro touring car bodyshell in preparation for the 2014 IFMAR Worlds in Bangkok. Implementing some never-before-seen-in-R/C air management concepts inspired by full-scale Touring Cars from the STCC and SCCA World Challenge, the VRS-N race body is designed to slot in between the handling characteristics of the P37-N and the SRS-N. It features a low profile up front and strategically placed airflow conditioners for maximum aero efficiency. The VRS-N meets all 200mm Global Body Spec rules and is available in high-quality light weight .025” or regular weight .030” genuine Lexan. Included with the body are window masks, decals, oversized nylon wing hardware and paint-then-peel overspray film.
