JConcepts Illuzion Manta SC body shell

JConcepts have released a sneak preview of their new Illuzion Manta short course body shell. Designed to fit the Slash, Slash 4×4 and SC10, the shell has been inspired from the ground up to turn these short course trucks into high performance machines. Its features include a scale inspired body, cab and window design, aggressive headlight and grill treatment with racing influence, front and rear fender flares for maximum clearance and an extended cab with recessed windows.

X-Factory X-60 Body reinforcement plate

X-Factory have announced a cool new carbon fibre part to reinforce the rear body clip area of the X-60 body. Because the rear body clips are in a recessed spot, this area is naturally a weak spot on the body, so this new part spreads the stress over a larger area to lengthen the life of the body. The C.F. part bolts onto the existing body and will transfer easily to a new body, so one purchase will last through several bodies for the life of your truck. Supplied with the screws and locking nuts to install it and a drill bit so the body mount holes can be enlarged to accommodate the new part.

HPI RS32 & Renault R28 F1 replica

Seen for the first time at the 2009 Shizuoka Hobby Show back in May HPI have now released the RS 32, the company’s first 1/32 scale mini RC cars. A series of small cars with authentic drive performance they feature direct-drive 2WD, swing-arm suspension at front and T-bar suspension at rear, servo saver, 4 bevel diff gear, center suspension and a 2.4GHz radio set. All the necessary tools are included in the kit and you have a choice between the RTR version and the chassis set version, which is the combination of assembled chassis and body. Currently there is a 1991 Zexel Skyline, 1991 Taisan Klepper GT-R, 1991 Calsonic Skyline and 2 different coloured Skyline GT-R Group A racing cars. Also from HPI is the release of the officially licensed Renault R28 formula one shell for the Formula Ten chassis. The body is supplied with detailed decal sheets, which can also be purchased separately, and there is also a rear wing set, front wing set and barge board set to complete the authentic look.

JConcepts Illuzion Hi-Flow body for Hot Bodies Ve8

Recently Hot Bodies released an electric version of the popular D8 buggy the Ve8 and JConcepts is quick off the mark with the release of the Illuzion – Hi-Flow body. Stealth-like in appearance and stance makes the Hi-Flow body a stand-out performer while incorporating the duel side scoops which make electrical cooling easy. The radical Illuzion “Hi-Flow” styling presents a smooth yet detailed design while incorporating many of the features from the original JConcepts Hi-Flow body line-up. JConcepts Slash VXL & Blitz overtray

JConcepts have released a number of new parts for the 1/16th Slash VXL and HPI Blitz. First up for the Slash is the new Dare short course shell whose cab, bed and fenders are all styling areas of focus and together with realistic mock lights and decals the shell includes extra fender clearance to eliminate troublesome tire rubbing issues. For for the Blitz there is an overtray, which fits under the body and protects your chassis from unwanted excess dirt and debris build-up during racing conditions.

Pro-Line Losi 8ight-T 2.0 Bull Dog shell

Following on Pro-Line’s previous releases of the Bull Dog truggy shell for the Associated RC8T, Hot Bodies D8T and Mugen MBX-6T, comes a version for the Losi 8ight-T 2.0. Made from Genuine GE .060 lexan, its bull nose front end increases corner speed, while the elongated bed increases air flow to the wing. Overall down force has been greatly improved over traditional 1:8 truck bodies with the engine head exposed for easy temp checks and igniter accessibility. Paint then peel overspray film, sticker sheet, and window masks included.

LRP S8-BX Evo2 shell and wing

Seen for the first time at the European Championships in Austria earlier in the year, LRP have released the new airflow optimized Evo 2 crystal clear body shell for the S8 BX buggy. It features a completely new design with improvements to the top end of the body which gives the car a much smoother handling both in the corners and in the air. Also new is the high-downforce wing that fits both the S8 BX and S8 TX offroad vehicles and increases the rear traction of your buggy, making it easier to drive. Perfect on dusty and slippery conditions.

For the Kyosho RT5 the Illuzion ‘Hi-Flow’ styling presents a flowing design while incorporating many radical edge styling details for additional style and performance. Race inspired aggressive styling, Illuzionized cab and cove hood scoop combined with a durable flowing bed design are just some of the features on this new body. Finally for the Blitz is an overtray, which fits under the body and protects your chassis from unwanted excess dirt and debris build-up during racing conditions.
