Our friends at Team C were in touch to tell us about their latest product, this neat looking body reamer. Available in 4 different anodized colours, black blue, gold and red, they all feature a cool looking carbon fibre look handle. The steel tip is ultra sharp for making clean burr free holes in your bodyshell and comes supplied with an aluminium and carbon tip protector, which sports the Team C logo etched into it.

New from JConcepts is this Illuzion B44 Scoopless body which has gone radical and now sports a new low profile appearance. This new shell has been dressed with a newly designed cab which incorporates a noticeably missing cab scoop, while the styling presents a smooth yet detailed design, incorporating many of the features from the original BJ4 Worlds Edition and B44 Hi-Flow body. Race inspired aggressive styling, Illuzionized cab and durable design are just some of the features that make up the new Illuzion B44 Scoopless body. Made from heavy-duty thickness polycarbonate with protective film, the body is supplied with two 6.5” high downforce V-wings as well as window masks and detailed Illuzion decal sheet.

Japanese company Kawada becomes the latest company to release its own body reamer, with this rather nice example. Featuring a black anodised finish, the lightweight handle and included aluminium tip protector are stylish yet functional, with the unique element of this tool being the cutting tip. The reamer tip is slightly stepped so that you can easily and accurately open a hole to a desired size, while for ease of use either side of the reamer tip sports measurements in mm and inches.

Russian company Micro RC (MRC) have announced the release of another new prototype body shell and wing, this time for the Team Associated B44 and JConcepts BJ4 electric buggy. Designed to allow brushless speed controllers with cooling fans to comfortably fit under, the body’s front window and rear V-wing help the car remain stable on long jumps. Made from ultra thin and lightweight 0.5mm thick lexan, more details on the release date when we know more.

Get ready to cool those high voltage brushed or brushless systems in your Kyosho Lazer ZX-5 with the new Vortex body by Pro-Line. Designed to give your car the latest in off-road styling and function, the Vortex was born from today’s top electric racer IFMAR Off-Road World Champion, Ryan Cavalieri. “We need a body that will better cool the brushless systems we are using and looks like it is ready to compete,” says Ryan Cavalieri. So, Ryan, along with Pro-Line’s body moulding experts, set out to create something that improved the overall performance of the car’s electronics and the car’s performance on the track. With 4 unique cooling features (1 on each side of the body, 1 directly underneath the front wind shield, and 1 on top of the cab), the Vortex received it’s name.

By popular demand Protoform is now releasing the same body style that the legendary Masami used in winning the last-ever IFMAR Pro 10 Worlds, the “P905B”. For it’s “encore performance” the P905B mould has been configured in the hi-downforce mode to enhance handling on a variety of tracks and surfaces. It comes with protective coating and is produced in .030 Lexan.
