MST E92 190mm body shell

MST have introduced their new E92 body shell for 1/10th scale 190mm wide touring and drift cars. The body resembles a very popular German 2-door coupe and it comes moulded from clear high-quality polycarbonate. Included with the body is variety of accessories such as clear front and rear lights inserts, a moulded rear wing, rear view mirrors, window masks, and two decal sheets with lights, grille, window lines and many other details to make the body stand out. The body is available from now on and it will also hit stores in combination with MST’s RMX 2.0 drift car kit and RMX 2.0 RTR drift cars come July.

JConcepts 1987 Chevy Monte Carlo Street Stock body

Coming from JConcepts is their new 1987 Chevy Monte Carlo street stock body shell. The American produced, sinister, wedged shaped vehicle is now released to the RC enthusiast to fit the latest Street Stock converted vehicles on the market. The crew in the JConcepts R&D department tackled one of its finest projects to date and together with Chevrolet licensing has produced the iconic Monte Carlo. The body shell construction is a shape fit for the RC scene. The vehicles which are wide-bodied, flat paneled and have a low-roof line always track well down the racetrack. A low front chin, bumper construction and pocketed headlights immediately look like punishment is headed your way. The long, swooping, and flat quarter-panels are a staple of this generation vehicle and it certainly cuts like a knife on the oval scene. The cab itself is one of the identifiable features of the Monte Carlo and its balanced positioning and sharp lines makes competitors retreat in fear. A small rear spoiler is built into the back of the model and can be trimmed and added in conditions that require more rear traction. Included in each body set, a 1987 Buick Grand National decal sheet and the paint mask for all windows. As always, each body set is backed with JConcepts customer support and racing heritage. The Monte Carlo measures a 10.75” wheelbase and the inside dimensions of the body are 10.00” front and rear. The body is built for a 2WD buggy conversion of any manufacturer and the body can be added to resemble the original 1:1 counterpart.

Traxxas ’69 & ’72 Classic Chevy Blazer body shells

Coming soon from Traxxas are their new 1969 and 1972 Classic Chevrolet Blazer body shells for the TRX-4 trail truck. Fans of early off-road sheet metal will instantly recognise these Chevrolet Blazer bodies. Traxxas combines the classic style of the Chevrolet Blazer and the off-road capability of the TRX-4 for these highly detailed RC replica bodies. The 1969 Blazer body captures the perfect blend of classic style and modern performance. This resto-mod body is blacked-out with bright chrome accents for maximum impact. Special LS3 decals let everyone know there’s some extra muscle under the hood and available 8-hole mag wheels complete the look.

Pro-Line XB2 Axis body shell

Pro-Line’s popular Axis 1/10th buggy body shell line is soon also available for drivers of the Xray XB2. Designed with the latest in CAD technology, the Axis features a super low-slung design with sharp lines throughout giving it an unmistakable look on the track. The Axis features a cab-forward design that provides enhanced steering response while the small side fins balance out the rear of the car with ideal side-bite. The rear of the Axis body has the right amount of clearance for the gearbox and fits the chassis and bulkhead shape of your race buggy perfectly. The Axis is made from lightweight polycarbonate material and included with the body are two Air Force II 6.5” rear wings, paint-then-peel overspray film, window masks, and Pro-Line decals.

JConcepts S15 EB48 2.0 body shell

JConcepts have announced the soon release of their S15 body shell for the Tekno EB48 2.0 buggy. The S15 blends performance features from the popular Silencer body with new features such as mid-body winglets and rear stabiliser kick-up. The roof of the body remains strong with the upper fin in position for stability and tracking ability. The area behind the cab remains clean with a deep-rooted position allowing exposure to air and escape. The S15 stance cockpit allows ample inside space, a smoother high-speed windshield transition which tackles even the most high-speed conditions. The hard-edged chamfering provides the classic JConcepts look while also delivering aero benefits and perfect decal positioning. The front and rear body mount area is cleanly designed and allows for a drop-fit on the Tekno EB48 2.0. Included with the body come window masks and a decal sheet.

ZooRacing 3-piece 190mm touring car wing set

Available now from ZooRacing is their new 3-piece wing set that includes three different design wings to fine-tune the aerodynamics of most of today’s 1/10th scale 190mm touring car bodies. Included are the wing of the ultra-popular DBX/PreoPard/ZooZilla series, the highly-curved HellCat rear wing as well as the new BayBee rear wing, all moulded from high-quality polycarbonate. Also included are a total of six polycarbonate endplates. Using the set comes in handy especially when running ZooRacing’s ultra lightweight 0.5mm bodies that greatly profit from the tougher and less flexible rear wings as they improve overall downforce without adding too much weight. In addition the different shapes of the wings allow to fine-tune the aerodynamic balance if conditions call for it. The wing set is usable with all 190mm touring cars that use a 100mm wing post spacing, they come un-cut and are supplied in clear high-quality polycarbonate material.

Mon-Tech Racing 190mm Pick-Up body shell

Mon-Tech Racing from Italy have unveiled their all-new Pick-Up body shell for 190mm wide 1/10th scale touring cars. The lid’s design is inspired by 1950’s hot rod pick-ups and although it was developed basically for bashing, it still offers a good overall balance thanks to the add-on rear wing that also makes for race-inspired looks. Beside the 190mm touring car variant Mon-Tech will also offer a 210mm wheelbase M-chassis and a crawler trail truck body in the foreseeable future.

MST tease new LP56 drift car body shell

MST have released first teaser images of their forthcoming new LP56 body shell. Designed for 195mm wide 257mm wheelbase 1/10th scale on-road chassis, the body should tick the boxes of drift car fans but it may be also find its way into fun or outlaw GT racing. MST targets a release in the fourth quarter of 2020 and we bring you more details as they surface.
