Mon-Tech RSGT3 1/10th scale GT body – Coming soon

Following a first teaser image Mon-Tech Racing from Italy have revealed more details of their forthcoming new 1/10th scale on-road body shell. Called the RSGT3, the body certainly targets the ever-growing (US)GT racing scene and it seems to feature some very neat details such as front fender and rear window louvres. The body is meant to fit most 1/10th scale electric touring cars and more details will become available by the end of May when we bring you a full run down on the body.

Leadfinger Racing TLR 22X-4 body – Coming soon

Leadfinger Racing have released a first teaser image of their forthcoming new body shell for the TLR 22X-4 1/10th scale buggy. The lid will feature many of the company’s signature features, such as an added roof vent for improved electronics cooling and the traditional LFR swoop that disburses airflow to the wing. Full details will be unveiled in time of the release.

Pro-Line Tough-Color black body shells

Pro-Line have introduced their new series of Tough-Color body shells for a variety of classes. The Tough-Color polycarbonate is made from black material, so owners never have to worry about paint peeling or chipping off. Realistic window stickers are also included with each body shell. Available are the 1969 Chevrolet Nova for drag racing chassis, a 1966 Ford F-100 monster truck for the Traxxas Stampede monster truck, a 1946 Dodge Power Wagon for 313mm wheelbase scale crawlers as well as a pre-cut 1967 Ford F-100 Race Truck Heatwave Edition body for Slash 2WD, Slash 4×4 and Pro-Fusion SC 4×4 short course trucks.

Pro-Line 1967 Ford F-100 Race Truck body shell

Pro-Line Racing have announced the soon release of their 1967 Ford F-100 race truck body shell for 1/10th short course trucks. The clear body is pre-cut for easy installation and can be fully customised with whatever paint job desired. The 1967 Ford body features the iconic flat front F-100 grill and wide fender flares to represent the aggressive fiberglass bulges found on full-size race trucks. Included with the clear body shell comes a detailed decal sheet.

Pro-Line ’70s Rock Van body shells

Following a couple of teaser images Pro-Line have fully unveiled their new ‘70s Rock Van trail truck body shells. Based on the iconic vans of the mid-late 1970s, the Rock Van provides a blank canvas to recreate the most awesome vans of yesteryear. From cable news vans, to ice cream trucks, to overlanding rigs, to transporting around your favourite team of ex-US Special Forces: the possibilities are endless! The ‘70s Rock Van features super-detailed front grille sections, oversized fender flares, and two sets of add-on bubble windows, porthole and teardrop, to give the van the ultimate retro look. The decal sheet also includes a full set of yellow and orange pinstriping. The body fits all popular 12.3” wheelbase crawlers outfitted with two sets of tall body posts. Pro-Line is also offering some exclusive 3D bonus scale parts, available for download, free of charge. The 3D files can be used to print-at-home on your 3D printer or send to an online print shop. The Rock Van is moulded in durable .060″ polycarbonate and comes with window masks, paint-then-peel overspray film and decals to finish off the look.

Yeah Racing 1/8th on-road wheel well marker

Coming from Yeah Racing is a multi-functional wheel well marker for 1/8th scale on-road cars. Made of carbon fibre and aluminium the tool allows for easy marking of 68mm IC track front, 76mm IC Track rear, and 105mm GT wheel wells, ensuring repeatable results every time. To mark the wheel wells, simply place the tool outside the body shell with the wheel nut as the centre point and draw the respective wheel well using a permanent marker. The included aluminium struts help keeping the jig in an upright position. The design also includes holes to mark the lower body height in 9mm to 15mm positions.

JConcepts 1970 Chevy K10 monster truck body

The latest addition to JConcepts’ popular line of rigid axle monster truck body shells is the 1970 Chevy K10. The popularity of scale and monster trucks sent JConcepts to the trenches in search of the ultimate line of iconic trucks to compliment a range of vehicles utilising a 10.5” to 11.00” wheelbase such as the Tamiya Clod Buster and Traxxas Stampede. The 1970 shell is powerful, and the square body shape is a shout-out to simpler times when a hard day’s work was a bedful of goodness. For the 1970, a lot of the glamour rests in the front grille and headlight package as well as the layered and sculpted rear tail gate and taillight section. These details are found on and included in the decal sheet along with many emblems and trim packages to complete your body in several popular looks from that generation. A chiseled front-end is gently swept back from the centre and moulded in front bumper with diamond plate like top. Fender wells are round, and a huge flare was added with raised edging making them ideal for recreating several iconic monster trucks from the golden era. The hood on the Chevy is rock solid in shape that planes across the centre ridgeline. A built-in hood scoop is in a great position to add any additional parts a user can think of such as predator carburettors or injector hat. The cab and windshield are a key styling point on this creation and the “cap” look to the cab has the hard edge around the sides and visor like appearance to the front. Side windows fit within the geometry as expected with classic vent windows lining the front corner.

Evo Race Factory from Maranello, Italy have introduced their all-new PZ-R GT body shell for 190mm chassis. The body offers sleek lines, a large front splitter, a matching rear wing, fake rear diffusor and last but not least scale looks. The lid comes moulded from clear high-quality polycarbonate and it fits 190mm touring cars with low profile shock towers.
