RPM X-Maxx roof skid rails

Coming from RPM and made for the popular Traxxas X-Maxx truck is a roof skid rail set. Using the rails will protect the precious body when the 8kg truck tumbles on its roof, ensuring the polycarbonate shell will hold up longer even when excessively used. The roof skid pails are a simple add-on that bolts to the roof of the truck using three screws for each rail. Full-length under body support plates are included to prevent the rails from getting yanked off once the driver flips the monster X-Maxx. The rails are tested to work with Traxxas #7711, #7711A,  #7717G, #7711R and #7711X bodies only. They have not been tested nor are they guaranteed to work with any other Traxxas or aftermarket bodies.

Leadfinger Racing A319 A2.1 Tactic body shell

The latest 1/8th buggy to receive Leadfinger Racing’s A2.1 Tactic body shell treatment is the Agama A319. First introduced in mid-2019, the A2.1 Tactic body design has proven itself on the track with a handful of different platforms. Fitment, performance and looks are key in every design, and every platform presents different challenges with each layout. The Agama was no exception. Fuel tank location, and the position of throttle and brake bias linkages needed to be taken into consideration. LFR were looking for a low profile and sleek design to fit the A319 perfectly. The designers were able to combat these differences by stretching the rake of the windshield and adding to the size of the side pod scoops for just the right amount clearance. To keep performance in check, additional down force was added to the rear of the side pods and rear centre of the body. As things started to come together, Leadfinger Racing topped off the cab with a shark fin for stability. To finish off the design the body includes a front scoop for even more tuning ability. As usual the body comes moulded from high-quality polycarbonate material and it includes window masks and a decal sheet.

JConcepts JCI Creep 12.3″ wheelbase body

JConcepts have introduced their new JCI Creep 12.3” wheelbase crawler body shell for trucks such as the Traxxas TRX-4 Sport, the Element RC Enduro and the Axial SCX10. The Creep began a hard life working the local farms, occasional fair and eventually into the mud pits. Pulling the Creep from the hard work of a farm truck wasn’t easy, however, JConcepts has dropped the cloth on a new crawling legend. Starting with a crisp front-end, the narrow truck has a skeleton like grille and beady eyes that have an angular V shape structure setting up the hood line and front-end clip. The long nose dead-ends into the V-shaped windshield which transitions into a large single cab providing that all-important vintage feel. It was important for this body shell to have a bed area that allowed ample mounting space for different chassis combinations but also space a user can experiment with their own accessories. Behind the rear cab bracing, a bed area rests with hard rails up top for strength and security. A dove-tailed rear end gives clearance and a rather experimental aggressive look to the rear panel. The front and rear are equipped with a flange style, sheet metal appearing, wheel well housings which gives the Creep its military fit and finish. The body includes window masks and a detailed JCI Creep decal sheet.

JConcepts 1989 Ford F-150 California Stampede body

Coming from JConcepts is their new 1989 Ford F-150 California body shell for the Traxxas Stampede truck. The body was built for the Traxxas Stampede “BIGFOOT No. 1 The Original Monster Truck” and it offers first class styling and its exterior is accentuated with smooth raised fenders and stepped front bumper. The strongest point to the design resolves back to the husky front and rear fenders giving it that pre-runner look. The extra bulk in this department gives the truck a boastful look capable of clearing an assortment of tires. A racy cab with scribed in window net, built-in racerback and roll-bar bed hosts a location for the mock spare tire for those long days in the dunes. The body features Ford licensed grille and headlights, wrap-around parking lights, a minimalist grille and an accurate and clean-looking Ford/JConcepts decal sheet. The body is a direct fit for the Traxxas BIGFOOT No. 1 and for fitment on all other Stampede models, its necessary to use the Traxxas #3619 body mount kit.
