Pro-Line Carnage Desert Rat for Slash

Anyone who has ever watch CORR series racing knows that the cars tend to look rather 2nd hand after some close racing. Pro-Line have recognized this and have released a World’s first, an RC body with breakaway panels. The Carnage Desert Rat is the usual good looking offering from Pro-Line but the front and rear fenders can come off when impacted, adding to the scale realism. Simply install the included 3M® lock material and your ready to rumble again, and again, and again. Made from durable/genuine .060 Lexan, it is supplied with decal sheet, window masks and paint-then-peel over spray film. Check out the small video on their site by following the link below.

JConcepts Illuzion Truth Body wraps

We recently wrote about the new JConcepts Truth shell for the Traxxas Slash, now the Florida based company has released 2 body wraps for the same body. As well as a red coloured wrap JConcepts has teamed up with the apparel wizards at Good Run Gear to offer an officially licensed GRG off-road truck body wrap. Let the Truth body wrap completely redefine the look of the Slash and look like an official off-road truck while tearing up the local track or neighborhood. Simply spray on a simple 1 or 2 color paint job and apply the GRG / JConcepts wraps and you’re off to the races with a unique looking off-road truck body.

HPI Buggy wing & Fuel filters

HPI Racing have released a number of new items including this durable nylon rear wing. Suitable for all 1/8th scale buggies, it has been designed to give you maximum rear traction without causing too much drag and has been molded from tough and resilient nylon to withstand the worst damage you can inflict on it. Also new is a pair of racing fuel filters. The stone type internal filter traps particulate matter, making sure you have a clean supply of fuel to the engine and no dirt harms the internals. Available in blue and subdued brown.

The Truth is specifically designed for the Traxxas Slash and represents the latest in trends by offering a completely redesigned off-road truck body. The cab, bed and fenders are all areas of focus on the Truth and without disappointment the new Slash body slides into the front of the pack. In addition, one of the highlights of the styling cues includes extra fender clearance to minimize troublesome tire rubbing issues. Made from clear durable lightweight polycarbonate, with protective overspray film, it is supplied with window masks and detailed decal sheet.

Fastrax Medium Downforce wings

The Hardcore Slayer body captures every essence of Championship Off-Road Racing with exceptional details down to the realistic bed shrouding, radiator, tubular chassis and shock details and delivers ultra hardcore fun with aggressive off-road styling, an integrated molded rear wing for added downforce and pronounced fenders. The Desert Rat reaps in that bold, off-road desert look. It’s extremely pronounced fenders give it an attack-like stance, low profile styling make for fast straight-line speed, and it’s equipped with simulated side mirrors just like the full-scale Trophy trucks. TRT Technik Lola Body Stiffener set

Body makers TRT Technik from Germany were in contact to tell us about their newest product, this body stiffener set. Designed for use with 1/8th scale on road competition bodies such as the Central Lola, Collari Peugeot 908, Sprint RC Zytec, SLB Lola Expert8 and more, it comes complete with a trim strip, 2 x 90 degree side body stiffeners, 2 x 45 degree side body stiffeners and 2 rear wing stiffeners, all with self adhesive strips.
