TLR 22T 4.0 Race Kit 2WD stadium truck

TLR have introduced the 4.0 version of their successful 22T 1/10th 2WD stadium truck. It features some drastic improvements including a mid-motor laydown transmission, a reversible rear shock tower for forward and rear shock mounting as well as a new body shell that supports the new rear shock tower option. As for the new gearbox configuration, the laydown design shifts the motor forward by 20mm which results in a truck that stays much flatter and drives more consistent while the included HDS slipper makes for more consistent drivetrain performance. On the suspension side of things the 4.0 relies on aluminium plate rear hubs for easy roll centre adjustments, while the new rear shock tower allows to run the shock in front of the rear A-arms on higher grip surfaces while the rear position is better on lower grip tracks. Other features include a 7075-T6 aluminium chassis, transverse battery mounting, adjustable toe and anti-squat, as well as a fully updated ball differential. The kit is rounded out by a new motor fan mount and a new body shell.

A unique front shock tower design allows for easy suspension geometry changes and the 7075 aluminium main chassis with L.F.C. Lower Friction Coefficient system will improve overall grip while offering less friction when bottoming out. The kit is rounded out by a newly developed radio tray that ensures precise throttle and braking response.
