Creation Model to enter the FWD class

Infinity’s official Facebook page have dropped the not so subtle hint of their upcoming entry into the FWD class. Simply mentioning that the new project as ‘Project number: 009’ as you can see in the photo the car is a 1/10th FWD chassis, which makes sense as many of the parts can be carried over from the IF14 project and the class is the getting more popular due to its more scale looks and unique driving challenges. More information as we get it.

Shepherd Velox V10 AWS 1/10th chassis

Team Shepherd have released the Velox V10 AWS nitro touring kit. The latest variant of the successful V10 platform has been developed in cooperation with team drivers and selected customers around the world to take a big variety of skill levels into account. The kit features the advanced weight system chassis plate that allows the use of sliding weights at the lowest possible point of the car. By moving the included weight forward or backward the balance of the car can be fine tuned in the pitlane with ease. The related battery mount has been updated to a carbon plate instead of the composite version that was included in the AWS set previously. In the rear end the geometry has been updated slightly by moving the lower hinge pins closer together. The camber link carbon plate has been reinforced to increase the durability and aluminium dogbones and the according wheel axles replace the CVC driveshafts and improve the overall handling. The front and rear carbon shock towers feature new shock positions allowing finer adjustments of the shock position while the updated radio plate supports made of 7075 T6 aluminium give more room for a clean wiring of the electronics. Furthermore the clutch bell has been upgraded to the light weight aluminium version and the front body mount carbon plate has been reinforced significantly as requested by many racers. The kit will be ready for shipment in a few days with the upgrade set for Velox V10 2019 owners following very soon.

Axial 1/10 scale RBX10 Ryft 4wd rock bouncer

Axial introduces another first with the 1/10 scale RBX10 Ryft 4wd, a kit that allows intermediate level RC drivers to experience the thrills of rock bouncer off-road action. Full-size rock bouncers refuse to stop, or even back down on the throttle, when facing steep climbs and massive rocks. So does the RBX10 Ryft 4wd. This ground-up new Axial vehicle handles lots of abuse and loads of power. It’s robust, custom tube chassis is engineered from a high-strength composite plastic that withstands the hard knocks of RC off-roading, even while moving at high speeds over difficult off-road terrain. Both the front and rear axles boast a durable one-piece, moulded plastic, solid axle design and realistic metal differential covers. Officially licensed Interco TSL Super Swamper Bogger tires on Raceline Monster wheels do their part to tame wild tracks, aided by a 4-link suspension and adjustable, long travel front and rear oil shocks. These features, plus a full-time 4WD transmission, make the RBX10 Ryft an exciting vehicle to take on tough challenges at full throttle. The kit comes with a clear body for finishing in your favourite colours, plus decals and realistic interior details.
