TLR 22T 2.0 2WD stadium truck kit

TLR 22T 2.0 2WD stadium truck kit

The latest TLR 1/10th electric kit to receive the 2.0 treatment is the ROAR Nationals winning 22T stadium truck. The vehicle is heavily based on the previous kit with some refined parts finding their way into the box such as the dual bellcrank steering that replaces the often criticised rack-type steering with an assembly that promises improved steering response and much less slop. Part of the updated steering package are also new caster hubs and new steering knuckles. Also included with the 2.0 are Gen II shock absorbers with machined pistons and X-ring seals for more precise shock absorber action. Other new parts included are updated, wider, rear wishbones for quicker direction changes, new hub carriers and narrower wheel hex adapters as well as matching camber links and CV driveshafts. The package is rounded out by an updated ball differential with tungsten carbide balls and a 10g lighter hard-anodised aluminium main chassis.

Other features include a variable servo system to alter the weight distribution without disturbing Ackermann setting and the car is based on a chassis that can be run with shorty or standard length battery packs with the shorty batteries being placeable in an inline or longitudinal position.
