X-Factory X-7 4wd prototype buggy

X-Factory showed off its new 4wd car for the first time at the recently completed Cactus Classic. This photo show the prototype X-7 with a J Concepts body made for the B44. The production car will have its own body. “I’m so excited about this car” said Chief Engineer Paul Sinclair. “The X-7 is absolutely revolutionary. You have never seen a driveline like this, you have never seen adjustability this easy or quick. Working on the car is very easy; I can pull a diff, rebuild it, and have the car ready to run in 10 minutes.” Paul added, “We’re working very hard on this project. We will make almost everything on the car, it will be a complete kit, not a conversion. This is the first time I’ve actually designed everything on the car from the ground up. There is a long way to go, lots of testing and development. Ellis Stafford will have my original race prototype sometime next week. We hope to have it on the market late this year or spring of 2012.”

HPI E-Firestorm 10T Flux RTR

The ready-to-run E-Firestorm Flux, HPI’s first-ever brushless motor equipped 2WD 1/10th scale stadium truck, is now better than ever. They’ve taken the proven platform and added a 2.4GHz radio system, a more powerful ESC/motor combination, waterproof electronics, an 8.4V battery pack, AA batteries for the transmitter, Split 5 chrome wheels and two fresh new paint jobs. The updated E-Firestorm Flux let’s you drive in wet conditions and has a top speed of over 50 mph with on-command wheelies.

WRC Racing F-One 1/10th scale chassis

Italian company WRC Racing have introduced their all new F-One 1/10th scale electric chassis. Made from high quality carbon fibre and 7075 aluminium, its your standard configuration for the class, which is largely dictated by the shape of the body shell. The car features a rear ball differential, while up front you can adjust the camber, caster, toe and ride height. A great looking body shell, front & rear wings, rear diffuser and racing wheels complete the look.

Electrix RC Boost 2wd buggy

The Boost buggy rounds out the Electrix RC line up. Its dependable and race friendly chassis is sure to be a hit with buggy fans worldwide. Having brought you everything from the CAD images, to the first photo, to the pre release shots taken at the toy fair, we felt we couldn’t miss the final product images of the S350 BK-1 from S-Workz. No extra information you didn’t know already, but you can now look at the final car which is about to hit the market.

Yokomo B-Max4 II & Factory 2011 buggy

Yokomo have released details of their new B-Max4 II 1:10 4wd off road buggy kit. Available in 2 versions the standard kit only comes with the new cab forward body shell for more steering while the Factory 2011 version additionally comes supplied with a whole host of option parts as standard. It comes with a LiPo compatible main chassis, motor mount with bigger range of adjustment, c-clip universal drive shafts, carbide diff balls, lightweight diff joints and hex head screws throughout. Both are available at the end of this month.

Yokomo BD5WX touring car

Yokomo have released details on their latest touring car, the BD5WX. Expected to ship later this month, it is a small update with the car featuring the hi traction main chassis as used by Ronald Volker to win the 2010 outdoor Euros. It is also supplied with a lightweight front spool with heavy duty outdrives, a rear gear differential, long type rear sway bar, a 8mm steering centre link and refined steering bell cranks.

Genius FR 1/5th Formula one car

The French importers of the Italian made Genius range of 1/5th scale cars was in contact to tell us about the new Genius FR Formula one car. Made using the best materials, all aluminium parts are made in ergal, it is the first 1/5 F1 designed with real front wing and rear diffuser such as those seen on a real car. Designed to be easy to maintain, you can quickly dismantle the rear differential, change the gear transmission and adjust the shocks. The suspension arms feature a uniball which through the use of plates tightened between the ball and arm allow for easy adjustment of the front and rear camber as well as rear toe. The car is also very lightweight for this class, weighing in at only 11kg.
