Yokomo YZ4-SF2 4WD buggy – Coming soon

Yokomo have released first images and information of the forthcoming new YZ4-SF2 1/10th scale 4WD buggy kit. The buggy is set for a release in late June with the latest incarnation of Yokomo’s World Championship winning buggy featuring new bulkheads, motor mount, slipper clutch, and more with all parts being of significantly lightened weight, resulting in greatly improved overall performance. Newly designed front and rear suspension arms improve rigidity with the 3.5mm inner suspension pins having been adopted to improve crash resistance while the new lightweight aluminium bulkheads are of a slimmed and simplified design with the inner camber link mounting position having moved to the shock towers for an overall lower weight and lower centre of gravity. It is also understood that the kit will include both dirt and carpet specific spring and anti-roll bars. Full details however will become available in time of the release.

HB Racing E819RS 1/8th E-Buggy kit – Coming soon

HB Racing have announced the soon release of their new E819RS 1/8th scale electric buggy kit. The vehicle is based on the successful E819 kit and includes the latest development features from the HB Racing team. A new V3 rear shock tower allows racers to adjust the wing height and body mount height while revised rear shock shafts and lower eyelets offer improved durability. A heavy duty aluminium centre chassis brace is now included as are new 17.5 degree caster blocks, now with M4 set screws for improved tightening and durability. Also included are new steering blocks with 2 degree inclined kingpins that split the difference between the previous stock 0 degree and the optional 4 degree blocks, along with new Delrin steering block spacers. A heavy-duty servo saver has been added, utilising a stronger spring and matching upper adjustment cap. And, new screw-type shock pins feature standard and reverse threads, and are colour coded for easy identification. The E819RS comes without body shell, giving racers the ability to choose their own body shell, and it will hit stores in August.

WRC Racing GTX.6 1/8th nitro on-road kit

Italian company WRC Racing has introduce their new GTX.6 1/8th scale nitro on-road kit. The latest incarnation of WRC Racing’s GTX series features several updates such as a new carbon fibre front body support and a redesigned radio plate for improved front end flex. Also new are rear uniball upper arms for camber adjustment and a new double belt tensioner. The features list is rounded out by a new exhaust support that is integrated in the front spur gear support.

Xray XT4 2021 4WD stadium truck kit

Xray have introduced the 2021 variant of their XT4 1/10th scale 4WD stadium truck. The latest incarnation of the XB4-based vehicle feature a new, longer main chassis for improved stability while new narrow front and rear suspension mounts make for an updated suspension geometry that provides increased overall traction. To accommodate the new suspension hangers, the front and rear gearboxes have been narrowed to ensure proper clearances. The drivetrain sees the addition of new front, centre and rear diffs that offer an increased oil volume for better consistency in long mains and all-new differential crown and pinion gears, CNC-machined from Hudy spring steel, ensure improved lifespan and reduced noise. Also part of the drivetrain package are new centre driveshafts with 2.5mm drive pins for increased efficiency while new, longer front and rear driveshafts round out the 2021 drivetrain package. Other features include an updated aluminium motor mount for easier pinion gear access, reinforced servo saver ports improve steering precision and a revised rear shock tower allows the attachment from both sides of the gearbox. The kit will hit stores very soon.

MST 2020 FMX 2.0 LCG RWD drift car chassis kit

Coming soon from MST is their 2020 FMX 2.0 LCG rear-wheel drive drift car kit. The 2020 edition features a redesigned aluminium motor mount that places the motor 5mm lower for improved stability and better car control while the newly designed upper deck is now separated from the motor mount for increased torsional flex and a more dynamic and streamlined look. The 2020 kit will hit stores soon.

Yokomo tease YZ-4SF2 4WD buggy

Yokomo’s Shin Adachi has released a first image of the company’s forthcoming new YZ-4SF2 1/10th scale 4WD buggy. Expected to consist of 80 percent of new or redesigned parts, the buggy will see some major updates but for now, only the above “body on” image is available. We bring you more details as they surface.

Element RC Trailrunner RTR truck

Associated Electrics have introduced the new Enduro Trailrunner ready-to-run trail truck. The Trailrunner comes equipped with a high-strength polycarbonate body that has been pre-painted to look fresh from the dealer showroom. The Trailrunner body was designed for looks, function and customisation featuring a two-piece design with removable front lower valance, injection-moulded fender flares, B-pillar appliques, door handles, windshield wipers, mirrors, and front grill installed right out of the box. The looks don’t stop there. Also included are injection-moulded roof rack, three-piece front bumper with D-rings, snorkel, and accessory decal sheet. Gripping the trail is a set of officially licensed General Grabber A/T X tires moulded in a high-performance, soft compound rubber. The General Grabber A/T X tires are mounted on three-piece 1.55” beadlock wheels. No more worrying if your RTR tires will come unglued.
