Tamiya TA07 MS 1/10th scale Touring Car

Following a teaser image all the way back in July, Tamiya have finally unveiled the TA07 MS. The TA07 Pro is a very popular chassis kit among club racers across the world and one of the most popular machines to use for the Tamiya Championship Series. This new version of the platform has been given a significant overhaul, endowing it with even greater potential, infusing with parts, designs and concepts from the top-level TRF419XR chassis to create a beast on the racetrack.

Kyosho Lazer ZX7 – Coming soon

Kyosho are teasing the all new Lazer ZX7, the follow up to their successful ZX6 4wd buggy platform. No official details were released but we can expect a full introduction in the coming days.

Tamiya Comical Grasshopper

The original Grasshopper needs little introduction. It was a Tamiya legend which inspired legions of fans since the 1980s. For many, it was their very first introduction into the world of radio control assembly kits. The original Grasshopper is still among Tamiya’s best-selling kits to this day. Now the legend is re-imagined as the Comical Grasshopper, with a new body inspired by the famous original. The re-imagined body sits on a new and dedicated variant of the proven off-road chassis, the WR-02CB.

Losi 22S ST 2WD brushless RTR

Horizon Hobby have introduced the new Losi 22S ST 2WD brushless ready-to-run stadium truck. Based on the Team Losi Racing 22 platform, the all-new Losi 22S ST RTR has taken the performance and durability of the 22 and maximised it to become a Ready-to-Run performance stadium truck. A powerful Dynamite brushless system provides a great amount of speed and power that’s completely manageable with the aid of AVC Active Vehicle Control technology. The get-up-and-go of the 22S is easily handled by the race-inspired suspension of the championship-winning 22 race platform. With user-friendly design concepts, like a bottom loading battery compartment and a chassis designed to be extremely easy to wrench on, owners can spend more time racing and less time swapping batteries or wrenching on the truck. Additionally, if owners want to take their experience to the next level, they can upgrade the Losi 22S ST with various Team Losi Racing 22 platform option parts and accessories. The truck is available in a blue livery with black wheels or a red livery rocking white wheels and it comes including a Spektrum DX2E Active radio and Spektrum servo.

Team Associated B6.1 Factory Lite 2WD buggy kit

Coming soon from Team Associated is the B6.1 Factory Lite 2WD buggy kit, a lightweight variant of the popular B6.1 specially aimed at stock racing classes. Shedding over 45 grams of weight from the original B6.1D, the Factory Lite was designed to excel in classes requiring Spec motors, allowing the racer to take full advantage of the performance offered by the reduced weight. The Factory Lite sheds 30 of the 45 grams in rotational mass alone. Parts used to achieve the weight savings include the MIP PucksT system, MIP Pucks 7075-T6 aluminium outdrives, MIP Pucks Bi-Metal lightweight R-CVD bones (67mm), Factory Team direct drive system, and a lightweight body. All other features here taken over from the B6.1 kit, meaning full parts compatibility. The Factory Lite kit is set for a release in late September.

Kyosho Mini-Z MR-03 Evo – Coming soon

First information of Kyosho’s forthcoming Mini-Z MR-03 Evo 1/28th scale car have appeared on social media. The latest variant of Kyosho’s ultra-popular Mini-Z kit will sport an updated front end but the biggest news is the possibility to utilise optional plug-in receiver boards that allow to use Futaba and Sanwa transmitters in addition to the usual Kyosho and KO Propo units. The update further opens the market to more drivers which should be a real boost for the class. More information will become available in time for the release that is scheduled for December.

Tamiya Toyota Gazoo Racing WRT Yaris WRC TT-02 kit

The latest body shell variant of Tamiya’s popular TT-02 entry-level 4WD touring car is the Toyota Gazoo Racing WRT Yaris WRC. The shaft-driven chassis sports a longitudinal layout with the battery on the left and the motor on the right, giving great stability. In addition, it features identical left and right suspension arms and uprights for ease of assembly, plus easy-to-maintain gearboxes. It is a highly adaptable chassis, as it offers two different wheelbases, two ground clearance settings and two tread set-ups in addition to a range of ten possible gear ratios. It is not short on looks either, with brake disc-shaped wheel hubs and stylish front bumper supports. Gun metal colour dish wheels and tread-pattern tyres make for a racy finish. The kit comes including a detailed Yaris WRC body shell and a huge decal sheet.

Kyosho Inferno MP9 TKI9 ReadySet nitro buggy

Kyosho’s successful and popular Inferno MP9 TKI4 1/8th scale nitro off-road buggy is soon also available in ReadySet RTR specification. The kit builds on the 8-time World Championship winning Inferno platform and utilises the TKI4’s signature long front suspension arms and 17.5 degree C-hubs. Other features include a cab forward body shell and the high-torque KE21SP recoil starter engine and tuned exhaust. The kit is rounded out by KS5031-09MW servos and a 2.4GHZ radio system.
