Mounted in a hard case to keep the expensive cells (over $200) from becoming damaged externally, the high voltage cells feature low internal resistance for unmatched power transfer, while the pre-wired EC5 connector also provides ultra-low resistance.

Diggity Designs 3200mAh Lipo pack

Diggity Designs have released this metallic grey hard cased 3200mAh Lipo racing battery. These 7.4V 20C packs have been tested in house and the manufacturer claims that they have more punch than other similar packs and are actually underrated and compare more to a 3400mAh battery. Cycled on a Competition Electronics Turbo GFX with a 30A discharge the run time was 395 seconds, while internal resistance was 14.5 ohms with an average discharge voltage of 7.16V. Supplied with a pre mounted Tamiya plug and balancer port, they also come with a separate pair of gold connectors.

A broad selection of Reedy LiPo batteries is now available to power servos and receivers, transmitters, and starter boxes. Worrying about battery life in long main events or consecutive bump-ups is a thing of the past. And turning over a hard-to-start nitro engine becomes much easier with a high-torque starter-box battery. To operate receivers and servos with 7.4 LiPo batteries, install the optional heavy-duty 5V regulator. It easily fits with the battery in the radio box, and prevents damage to gear that should not be exposed to more than 5 volts. A new 1800mAh 7.4V battery specifically for Micro cars replaces 7.2V NiMH stick packs. Rated at 20C, it is capable of powering the very hottest 1:18 scale motors to incredible speeds.
