Ultimate Racing 7.4V 2500mAh receiver battery packs

Modelix Racing have introduced the new Ultimate Racing 7.4V 2500mAh Lithium-Polymer receiver battery packs. Available in hump and straight pack configurations and coming pre-soldered with universal JR-type connectors the batteries will provide lots of runtime even with power hungry high-voltage servos and the straight pack also fits a range of transmitters.

Ultimate Racing 2S LiPo battery packs

Following the introduction of their new range of Ultimate Racing 4S LiPo battery packs, Spanish company Modelix Racing now also released information on their new 2S hardcase batteries. First up is the 7200mAh 110C pack. Its high capacity makes the standard size battery (139x47x25mm/320g) ideal for all power-hungry applications. Also made of 110C cells but slightly lighter is the 6000mAh offering (139x47x25mm/290g) with both packs utilising dual 4mm tube-type connectors. Designed for all applications that require a shorty battery is a 5000mAh 110C pack (96x47x25mm/200g) whose lightweight design makes it ideal for 2WD and 4WD buggies or pan cars. The hardcase battery is equipped with 5mm tube-type connectors. Last bit not least comes is a 4500mAh 60C stick pack (138x47x24mm/210g) that comes pre-wired with a T-type plug.

Ultimate Racing 4S LiPo battery packs

Modelix Racing have introduced a range of Ultimate Racing 4S LiPo battery packs. Designed for competition 1/8th racing the batteries are available in four different configurations, as high capacity 6400mAh 100C (138x46x49mm/560g), low-profile 4800mAh 110C (138x46x36mm/440g), lightweight shorty 5200mAh 110C (106×46.5×50.5mm/400g) and intermediate-level 5200mAh 60C (138x46x49mm/430g) pack. All feature pre-wired balancer ports and a mixture of banana-style tube connectors or high-current XT or Deans-type plugs.

Speedzone 5000mAh 120C LiPo battery pack

Coming from Speedzone is their all-new 5000mAh 120C LiPi battery pack. The latest release to their line of hardcase packs comes in standard 2S dimensions with 5mm inboard connectors and it weighs under 290g. The biggest advantage of this pack is the high average voltage and super low resistance, making it perfect for not only spec classes but modified classes as well while meeting ROAR, EFRA, BRCA, and IFMAR specs.

Team EAM Graphene 6000mAh LiPo packs

Coming from Team EAM are the new Graphene 6000mAh standard and LCG LiPo battery packs. Both are built using high-performance 110C cells whose Graphene technology makes for a lower internal resistance and greater reliability. The packs perform better under load, making them ideal for both modified and stock racing and as an industry first, they sport balancer ports on both sided of the case. As for the weight, the 25mm standard battery weighs in at 308g while the 23mm LCG battery weighs in at 288g. Both make use of 5mm bullet type connectors, they sport side labels that will not be ripped off by battery tape and they are available now.

EZPower 8200mAh 2S Graphene LiHV battery pack

Italian brand EZPower have introduced their new 8200mAh 7.6V 2S Graphene LiHV battery pack. Built from high-performance 140C/70C high-voltage Lithium-Polymer cells the battery offers extremely long runtimes even in power-hungry classes such as Touring Modified and 1/8th off-road. The standard size 25.1mm pack makes use of 4mm gold-plated connectors and it weighs in at 325g.

RC-Cox 5mm LiPo battery safety plugs

PPM RC Racing have introduced the new RC-Cox 5mm LiPo battery safety plugs. Made from a soft material the plugs were designed to cover the unused openings of through-type LiPo battery connector tubes, keeping them from becoming dirty and damaged while also avoiding putting the battery in the car the wrong way around which can result in short circuits during hectic plug in routines. The plugs are easy to remove yet strong enough to not fall off even when the going gets tough and they come in sets of ten, enough to outfit five 5mm connector battery packs.

Antix by LRP high voltage LiHV battery packs

Coming from LRP’s Antix brand are several high-voltage LiHV hardcase battery packs for a range of applications. All batteries utilise LRP’s Graphene cell technology known from the company’s competition line of batteries and their increased nominal voltage makes them ideal for outlaw racing classes or backyard bashing. The range includes a 2S 4200mAh shorty battery pack, a 2S 9000mAh and a 2S 5400mAh standard-size pack, a 2S 5400mAh round case stick pack, as well as a 2100mAh 1/8th scale battery.
