Offering standard dimensions and a reduced height of 22.5mm, the low centre of gravity pack is built using of high-quality 110C cells that were made using additional Graphene material which is meant to improve performance and durability. Trinity 7.4V 5000mAh Turf Tuff Pak LiPo battery

Coming from Trinity is the new 7.4V 2S 5000mAh Turf Tuff Pack LiPo battery. Offering standard shorty dimensions of 96×46.7×24.7mm and being built from high-quality 5000mAh cells the battery is aimed towards racing on high-grip carpet and astro turf tracks whose increased traction can make it tough to not dump the battery towards the end of a run. With the increased capacity making five or even seven minute races with low-turn modified motors is no longer an issue. The battery weighs in at 222g and it utilises 5mm tube-type connectors.

Muchmore Impact 2700mAh 7.4V receiver battery pack

Muchmore have introduced the new Impact 2700mAh 7.4V LiPo receiver battery pack. The pack sports the industry standard “hump” design and 60x32x31.5mm dimensions, making it usable with a wide range of 1/8th off-road buggies and trucks. Muchmore Impact 1800mAh LiFe TX & RX battery pack

Muchmore have introduced the Impact 1800mAh 6.6V LiFe battery pack for transmitter and receiver applications. The flat-type pack measures 85x27x18mm and fits most 1/8th and 1/10th nitro vehicles that utilise flat-type receiver batteries and it is also usable with transmitters that accept 6V input. The battery is made from robust 1800mAh cells, it comes pre-wired with a JR-style universal plug and a XH balance connector and is it usable with standard voltage compatible receivers and servos.

Trion 6000mAh LiHV LiPo battery pack

Trion have introduced their new 6000mAh LiHV standard-size battery pack. Made from high-quality 100C high-voltage Lithium-Polymer cells the battery is of standard 138x47x25.1mm dimensions and it weighs in at 274g for the 4mm connector variant and at 280g equipped with 5mm connectors. Although being a HV battery pack with a nominal voltage of 7.6V, allowing to use it with a charge end voltage of 8.7V, it is also good for the use with standard charge settings and 8.4V charge end voltage as it offers a flat discharge curve for more power towards the end of a run.

Coming from HRC Racing is a 11.1V 3S 4400mAh hardcase LiPo battery pack. Offering standard 2S dimensions of 135x45x25mm the battery is usable in all vehicles that take 2S packs but the additional cell makes for a significant boost in performance. LRP 2017 P5-HV Competition Car Line LiPo battery range

LRP have revamped their Competition Car Line range of high-performance LiPo batteries for 2017, adding several 7.6V LiHV packs. The P5-HV technology Graphene cells will offer improved durability when charged to the standard 4.2V per cell but they are good for the use with up to 4.35V charge end voltage, allowing to use them in outlaw racing classes. The new cell technology makes for improved average voltage, lower heat built-up and an increased voltage level towards the end of a run. The range starts with four standard length 2S packs, the 8000mAh TC Stock Spec (25.1mm height/332g), the 6400mAh TC LCG Stock Spec (22.5mm/274g), the 5500mAh TC Ultra LCG (20.0mm/230g) and the 5600mAh TC LCG (22.5mm/268g.

Nosram P5-HV 2017 LiHV battery packs

UK Nosram distributors Schumacher have introduced three new P5-HV Lithium-Polymer high-voltage battery packs. Made utilising high-performance cells the 7.6V packs offer a low resistance, less heat build-up under load and thus maximised power until the end of the run. Although of high-voltage specifications the soon BRCA-legal packs offer more power than Nosram’s 2016 packs when charged to the currently legal 8.4V. Available are a 22.3mm tall LCG 6400mAh standard size pack, a 19.5mm high Ultra LCG 5500mAh standard size battery and also a 4200mAh shorty pack that is of “real shorty” dimensions. All use red translucent hardcases with 5mm tube-style connectors and they comply with EFRA, IFMAR, ROAR, JMRCA, BRCA and DMC rules.
