Following the release of their 6500mAh stick pack back in November, Scorpion have introduced two new configurations of their 7.4V Platinum series LiPo battery packs. The hard cased 5600mAh saddle and 4200mAh shorty packs are built from high-quality 65C cells and are usable in a wide range of competition applications.
Marka Racing have introduced their new 7200mAh 100C 2S 7.4V LiPo battery. Suitable for stock and modified classes, it comes in a black hard-case and weighs in at 310 grams. Suitable for use in 1/10th 2WD and 4WD buggies as well as touring and formula cars.

Measuring 88×34.5x26mm and weighing in at 150g the battery is ideal for a range of touring cars, buggies and trucks and it comes pre-wired with a BEC plug, XHR balancer port and two long power wires that allow to install your preferred power connector. German company CS-Electronic introduce the CS-Drift 7.4V 5000mA 35C LiPo battery pack. Built from high-quality cells that use Silver Protect technology for improved security the battery is good for up to 70C burst discharge rates, making it ideal not only for RC drift applications. The design of the hardcase allows to access the 4mm tube-type connectors from the top and bottom side and the battery comes with a pre-wired charging and balancing harness.

RB introduce the Energy 4200mAh shorty LiPo battery pack for the use with many 1/10th applications such as 2WD and 4WD buggies, pan and formula cars. Built from high-performance 100C cells the battery is good for stock and modified classes, it comes in a protective hardcase with 4mm power connectors and including a charge/balancing harness pre-wired with a Deans-type connector.

Hudy introduce their new LiPo safety bag large enough to store three standard 2S LiPo packs in. Made from EN531 standard fireproof material, the same as firefighter suits are made of, and coming with flashy Hudy graphics the bag reduces the damage done to the pit table and its surroundings in case a LiPo battery goes boom during charging, discharging or storage. The bag measures 140x60x70mm and it is available very soon.

Xceed have a new safety bag available for secure charging and transportation of LiPo battery packs. Made from fire-proof fabric the bag reduces the damage done to the pit table and surroundings in the event of a LiPo battery catching fire for any reason during charging, discharging or stprage. The newly developed high-performance battery is made from a new generation of very robust Lithium-Polymer cells that does not swell like most of today’s LiPo packs do.
