Manufactured from ‘greener’ state-of-the-art Dupont Nomex & Kevlar, this flexible fire-resistant material is more pliable than many on the market making it more suitable to a variety of battery sizes. Supplied in black, with blue trimming, the bag will protect yourself and your equipment from a potential LiPo battery fire and is a required piece of equipment for many governing bodies.

New for the ProTek R/C brand are these 2 Lithium Polymer 2-cell receiver battery pack with 2300mAh of capacity and a true 8C constant discharge rate. These super light weight Li-Poly battery is designed to power the electronics of 1/10th & 1/8th scale gas powered race cars and are available in both square and stick pack configurations. These packs are built with a lexan plastic shell around the outside of the battery, and then covered in blue heat shrink. The lexan shell is designed to protect the battery cells while in the vehicle, for longer life.

Team Epic have released this pair of two hi-end Intellect 1600mAh NiMH battery packs for the Traxxas mini Slash and mini Revo. Higher capacity than stock packs for longer run times the 2 packs allow more run time as you can charge one while running the other or run both at the same time with the optional Traxxas dual pack adapter for 14.4 volts of super power. The packs come pre wired with Traxxas connectors so they are true plug and play.

Speedzone have sent us this prototype image of their upcoming 1 cell LiPo pack, ideal for 1/12 scale and WGT. Specs will be 3.7v, 5000mAh rated at 40C and taking a new approach, this pack will feature in-built bullet connectors, what they claim is a first for a 1/12th scale LiPo pack. General availability is set for late July.
