New from Shepherd and made for the Velox V10 Pro are hard compound lower A-arms. Due to a higher percentage of glass fibres mixed into the raw material the arms are noticeably stiffer than the stock parts, making them ideal when running in high ambient temperatures or on high traction tracks. The arms are a direct replacement and available now.

Team C have released first images of a long shock absorber conversion kit for the TC10 electric touring car. So far no information about the specifications are available but by the looks of things the kit will include longer threaded aluminium shock bodies and updated carbon fibre shock towers to accommodate the now-longer dampers. While ultra short low-profile shocks where tried by a number of companies in the past, some of them now move back to “conventional” length units as they offer better traction and easier setup in certain track conditions. We bring you more information on the conversion kit as soon as they surface.

Italian company Team Bianchi Racing TBR introduce the Starting Box carrying platform for the use in on-road and off-road nitro racing. Made from sturdy ABS plastic and sporting a rope as a lightweight handle, the platform allows to continently carry a starter box, fuel bottle, glow igniter, tools and spare plugs to have everything at hand when pitting your driver.

JConcepts introduce the Finnisher bodyshell specially designed for the TLR 22 2.0 2WD buggy in mid motor configuration. Development with the help of Ryan Maifield, the Finnisher for the 22 is a completely tightened design, slimming the overall look of the vehicle. The body sports a smoother high-speed transition with increased flow past the side-pods that lends itself perfect to high-speed circuits. A single angle starting near the steering assembly ending at the widest point in the middle of the chassis adds driving consistency and improved “at-speed” handling. As track conditions have advanced through additives, treatments and maintenance, the ultimate aero package flows through the turns, produces traction and jumps with consistency. Included with the body come two 6.5″ wide Hi-Clearance wings.

Hudy introduce their professional RC pit LED lamp. New from Muchmore come 1/10th shock absorber O-rings in three hardnesses. Developed with the help of 3-times World Champion Marc Rheinard the O-rings are available in 40 shore, 50 shore and 60 shore hardness that help to fine-tune the shocks to various track conditions. The harder 50 and 60 shore rings are ideal for carpet tracks while the softer 40 shore rings are best used in low-grip and low temperature conditions. A special silicone material makes the rings much less prone to swelling under the influence of silicone shock oil, they come in sets of 8 rings and are usable for many 1/10th on-road and off-road kits.

Team C introduce 12mm aluminium wheel hex adapters for the TM2 V2 and TM4 buggies. Machined from high-quality aluminium the adapters are of a clamping design and they come orange anodised and in sets of four including the needed screws and shims.

Coming soon from TLR is a new short wheelbase aluminium chassis for the 22 2.0 buggy. Designed to shorten the wheelbase by 2.5mm the part also sports massive machining in the battery and motor/speedo area in order to lower the weight while giving more torsional flex at the same time which should help with traction and overall drivability on low to medium-bite surfaces.
