The tower lowers the CG, and allows your truck to drive flatter and handle better on high bite conditions. RC Maker, the brand of one of Australia’s leading international touring car racers Ryan Maker, has introduced a number of aftermarket option parts for the recently released Yokomo MS1.0 1:10 Electric Touring Car. The extensive range includes a GeoCarbon Bumper Plate, updated Front Shock Tower and a Rear Body Mount. Additionally they are offering four different options of SlimFlex Carbon Topdeck, the Type 1 and the Type 2 decks offered in 2.0 and 1.6mm thicknesses. Also in its latest product release is a brand new 3D Pro Hood Stiffener, compatible with our GeoCarbon Bumper Mount for Yokomo MS1.0, and a 3D Pro Anti Roll Bar Stopper that works with both the MS1.0 and previous BD12.
Reedy has introduced its all-new Sonic SP5 25.5 A-Spec stock motors with minor changes to the stator improving torque for racers who utilise 25.5 motors in competition. The incredible performance of the SP5 starts at the heart of the motor, the stator. Designed in-house, the stator’s profile is intended to achieve maximum torque and power output without sacrificing RPM. High-quality copper magnet wire, sized to the maximum that the rules allow and wound with care to keep resistance near the legal minimum, is treated with heat transfer epoxy to dissipate heat and reduce internal temperatures resulting in less fade over the course of the race. An oversized collector ring not only dissipates heat, but in conjunction with thick solder tabs, reduces resistance and power loss. The balanced rotor features a high-strength magnet that takes full advantage of dimensional rules to produce fade-free power with maximum effectiveness. The rotor is supported by precision stainless steel ball bearings to accommodate high RPM loads with exceptional efficiency and reliability. Like all Reedy Sonic motors, a high-quality sensor board rounds out the motor’s interior. Externally, the SP5 utilizes a lightweight two-piece CNC machined aluminium housing with an aluminium endcap and timing adjustability to accommodate fine-tuning for specific applications.

After more then a year of development, culminating in a 1, 2 finish at this year’s Motorama Nationals, Custom Works has released the new BEAST Midget kit. Designed and optimized for the growing 1:10 Midget Spec class, the North Carolina based manufacturer tested several different suspension and chassis options before landing back on a platform very similar to their successful Outlaw 5 Sprint kit. The benefit of this is that a majority of the parts used on the BEAST are probably already in many racers spare parts box. The BEAST is well suited for loose dirt style tracks and high bite surfaces that typically use 2.2 buggy styled rubber tire. With it’s heritage based off of the successful Outlaw Sprint car this new Beast Midget kit comes with several different parts and features to make it perfectly suited for the growing 1:10 Midget Spec Class of racing.

Swiss company RCP Products has released a new tyre remover solvent. After a long period of development, the final solvent formulation is easy to handle without harmful adhesive-dissolving fumes. It easily remove tyres and can be used up to 10 times longer than conventional products. With a low odor it does not evaporate, it is not self-igniting and does not attack the rims with the solution washable with water
The cost effective remover solvent comes in a 2.5 litre container and will pay for itself after removing tyres from just 4 sets of rims.

Team Associated is releasing two new t-shirts for 2024 with the blue Heritage and black WC23 designs. . The Heritage tee features the heritage AE slot-car track logo design on a high-quality poly/cotton blend shirt in blue. The black WC23 shirt was designed for the American brand’s Team Drivers for the 2023 World Championships in Arizona where Davide Ongaro added to the AE tally of World titles.
