JConcepts 1/8th truck Hybrids

A combination of years of development with JConcepts drivers, the Hybrids are all the rage and the combination of the most popular JConcepts tires available. A mid-lug design with unique inner Crowbar center lug DNA, the Hybrid is built for speed and ultimate high-speed control and handling. Supported lug control and X-braced sidewall lug detail is designed to go the distance in long qualifiers, final main events and beyond. Adapted for the 1/8th truck class featuring the Elevated Bead design the lightweight continuous tire body design minimizes rotating mass which makes the 1/8th truck Hybrid a dynamite performer straight out of the package. Extensive testing showed a smaller pin height advantageous in many conditions and particularly when sharp angles and edges arise in the track surface. At the base of the design, the new mid-height lugs present the compound to the racing surface while the center lug DNA picks up the heavy lifting for forward-bite. Available in Soft (Blue) and Super Soft (Green) compounds.

Serpent S120 LT upgrade set

Serpent have released the upgrade-set to convert your S120-L into the recently announced LT version. The set includes all the necessary parts to upgrade convert it including chassis, pod plate, shock plate, shock tower, side plates, top deck, aluminium posts and top quality hex fasteners. Sanwa SRG-CT & SRG-CS servos

Sanwa’s new SSR technology stands for outstanding transmission speed and super fast response. The SRG-CT and SRG-CS servos feature robust and precise metal gear, coreless motors and double ball bearings. Their SSR capability makes them the perfect addition to the Sanwa M11X, MT-4 and ExzesX transmitters. Of course, these digital servos are also compatible with non SSR capable transmitters. Offering 14.8kg/cm, the SRG-CT is ideally suited for 1/8 Offroad, gas Onroad and 1/10 Offroad, while the SRG-CS’ 9.0kg/cm makes it great for gas Onroad and also 1/10 Offroad.

Awesomatix A700 now available

Russian company Awesomatix have announced that they have begun shipping the revolutionary A700 1/10th EP touring car chassis. The car, which we have covered previously, has proven itself on the track with multiple pole positions and a win at the final round of the Euro Touring Series as well as making the final at this year’s European Championships. The cars will be first delivered based on pre orders before becoming generally available.

Team C T8TE brushless truggy

Team C have released pictures of their new brushless truggy, the T8TE. Its twin battery pack design chassis sees a pack mounted to the rear of the chassis and to each side of the centre driveshaft giving excellent balance. Other features include a 3mm T6 7075 chassis, 5mm front & rear shock towers, CVD shaft system and high downforce rear wing and cab forward body. Expect an early November release.

Xray X12 coming soon

Xray have announced the impending arrival of the all new 1/12th scale chassis, the X12. Giving no details in a teaser statement on Twitter, the Slovakian company simply stated “The all-new Xray 1/12 platform coming soon. Good bye XII…welcome X12.” We will keep you posted as we get more updates.

TrakPower gear grease & silver solder

TrakPower’s new gear grease (2oz) gives superior lubrication to reduce friction and wear for gears, universals, thrust bearings and other applications. It’s waterproof with formulated ‘non-sling’ properties. TrakPower have also released some Rosin Core silver solder (15g) which provides strong solder joints with low resistance and high conductivity. Environmentally safe, it contains no lead and has 3% silver content.
