Associated 12R5.1 LiPo Conversion kit

Team Associated have released a new 12R5.1 LiPo Conversion kit. The chassis has been been optimized for 1S LiPo batteries and features inline battery positioning generating a lower polar moment of inertia for smoother mid-corner steering in high traction conditions. A lengthened wheel base gives added stability, while the front bulkhead mounting position has been widened to give more options for upper control arm length and added adjustability for multiple track and motor conditions. An updated rear upper pod geometry increases leverage on center shock to help compensate for the lighter minimum overall chassis mass when using LiPo batteries. Other additions include stronger blue aluminium chassis braces and a thicker 3mm rear chassis brace gives extra support for rear body posts ad side springs.

New from Associated, these wheel hexes, with locking cross pins, make it easier for you to remove your wheels and tires without worry. The cross pin is now captured inside the hex with an M3 screw. A great addition to your SC10 4×4 whether you are running in the back yard with your friends or competing at the local track.

JConcepts Inverse wheel & updated car stand

Seen at the World Championships in Thailand last November, the new JConcepts Inverse wheel with 2-piece design provides several benefits for maximum tune-ability and ease of use. The inner wheel comes standard in a black matte finish and is designed as a completely smooth surface for the cleanest fit and finish which resists debris build-up. The outer dish is available in bright white or fluorescent yellow and is creatively interlocked with the wheel and with the addition of inner screws can provide tuned flexibility. A 4 or 8 screw combination can be utilized for tuning with 8 screws providing a stiffer inner wheel and 4 screws providing more flex. The Inverse wheel face also incorporates a user friendly wheel face shaped to promote a smoother gluing, wiping and drying experience. Also new from JConcepts is their updated polycarbonate car stand which is now available in a matt black finish.
