MLC Peugeot 908 bodyshell

Seen at last weekend’s Trofeo MLC & Tornado, run at the RME ‘Lamberto Collari’ track to celebrate Collari’s 8 World Championship titles, was the new Peugeot 908 1/8th scale body shell from MLC. Made by Bergonzoni and already appearing on the EFRA list of approved body shells for the 1/8th class, this new shell is unusual in that it has a full cockpit. This aside, the body is essentially a Lola CanAm shell, albeit a bit more stable. The race itself was won by Lamberto, who of course was running the new shell, while the version shown above belongs to Andrea Pirani who finished 3rd.

Tekin Redline Sensored BL motors

Tekin will soon release their Redline Series brushless motors, a new breed of BL motors specifically engineered to operate at the intersection of power and efficiency. No single motor can live up to that expectation under all conditions and so they have designed a series of motors, each one targeting peak performance for a particular application. Everything is covered, from on road touring to off-road buggies and trucks to oval classes, these new motors aim to deliver competition performance.

Diggity Designs B44 front shock tower

More new stuff for the Associated B44 from Diggity Designs, following last weeks release of the LiPo mount for the car. The same company have now announced the release of this super strong and lightweight 4mm thick carbon fibre front shock tower. Looking a bit beefier than the stock version, this option part also features a 3rd upper shock absorber mounting hole for more tuning possibilities.

This engine comes equipped with an 8mm composite carburettor to keep operating temps and engine consistency regular as well as the new L2G head to increase the cooling and lower the weight for more performance. Team Magic M8 buggy

We wrote about the new M8 from Team Magic about a month ago when it first showed up in Spain. Now Team Magic themselves have released the full details of the car which is confirmed to have extra long big bore shocks, extra long suspension travel, adjustable wheelbase, adjustable rear upper linkages and special aluminium front & rear chassis stiffeners. For the first batch of the M8 only, TM are also including a number of optionals such as machined lightweight aluminum – chassis, stiffeners, hinge pin mounts and steering blocks and it also comes supplied with K-Factory brake pads

Team Azarashi RB5 Cracker Prototype

Earlier this month we wrote about the new Cracker body from Team Azarashi in Japan. That first version was made for the Associated B4, but they now released a version for the Kyosho RB5 buggy as well. These pictures show the prototype and as yet they do not feature the body and window lines.

Nosram Storm Evo Spec Racing motor

Nosram have released their Storm evolution spec racing motor, perfect and trouble free brushless stock racing for everyone, combining all the brushless advantages with striking simplicity. A colour-coded aluminum ring in the teardown easily shows the number of turns, while the motor includes a black colour-coded magnet and black motor shaft. This way, the motors are ideal for all kind of spec or stock racing.
