Coming from Moto-Obscura and made for Losi’s Mini-T 2.0 truck are heavy duty lower suspension arms. They maintain the stock suspension geometry but are much stronger than stock. The 3-D-printed arms are available in several colours, allowing for further customisation of Losi’s popular mini truck.
Coming from VP Pro is their new 60mm to 135mm droop gauge for 1/8th and 1/10th scale off-road vehicles. The tool utilises a common design that allows for quick checking and adjustment of the suspension droop by simply sliding the upper part of the tool over the upper shock mount nut and reading the droop value using the tool’s ruler and the position of the lower shock mounting screw. The gauge is made of high-quality aluminium, it comes black anodised and with laser-engraved markings.

JConcepts have introduced a protective chassis sticker set for the TLR 22X-4 4WD buggy. The pre-cut decal prevents the bottom of the chassis from becoming overly scratched or damaged when running on abrasive surface or on tracks with large jumps. The durable and resilient material fits each chassis like a glove and adds protection and style in one easy package. Each set includes two decal sheets as well as spare front and rear “skid plates” that can be used to replace worn sticker areas.
Coming from Desiles Aero are new aero option parts for the Shepherd Velox V8.2 on-road kit. First up is an extra long rear body mount arm. These arms are 2.7mm longer than the original part in order to increase the height of body. It does away with the need to put a piece of foam onto the rear body mount as some drivers do. Using the longer arms will ensure all downforce produced by the rear of the body is transferred directly to the wheels. The parts are 3-D-printed and allow the attachment of another new part, the optional arm wings. The latter were designed to improve rear downforce and traction at all speeds, making for a more planted ride. Like the body mount arms, the wings are 3-D-printed and they are a direct fit to the above body mount arms.
Following a couple of teaser images, Mon-Tech Racing have fully unveiled their all-new RS GT3 1/10th scale GT body shell. The 190mm USGT body was developed using the latest 3-D-modelling techniques in order achieve a new level of detailedness, with the body featuring an aggressive front splitter, a low hood section and a balanced rear wing design, providing a perfect blend of high downforce and very low drag. The body is moulded in-house at Mon-Tech Racing in Italy, using high-quality polycarbonate material for exceptional durability. The design of the body allows for lots of tyre clearance even when using bigger tyres while ensuring the lid can be placed forth or back to fine-tune overall balance. The included wing features two trim lines, a USGT-legal 10mm line and an outlaw 20mm line, the latter generating even more downforce. The body comes clear, including window masks, a lights decal sheet as well as wing mounting hardware and in a reusable and resealable, Mon-Tech-branded bag. In addition Mon-Tech Racing will offer decal kits to create design replicas for even cooler looks.
JConcepts have introduced their Ellipse 1/8th buggy tyre in silver compound. The Ellipse, named after the centre bar built into the tread, is a compliment to successful tyres such as the Dirt Webs and Bar Codes. The “web”-style tyre was built to compete on smooth high-grip indoor and outdoor surfaces which require a finely detailed connected bar pattern. The centre section of the tyre is a home run utilising a diamond “home plate” footprint to provide massive forward bite and increased longevity. The web of extensions are unique and have a directional touch giving the racer the ultimate tune-ability. The Dirt Webs have been an industry leader for indoor performance and often chosen as a control tyre for performance, reliability and consistency. Xray have introduced their new GTX8 1/8th scale nitro GT kit. The 2021 variant of the IFMAR vice-World-Championship and EFRA vice-European-Championship winning car builds on a redesigned and reinforced aluminium chassis whose rear section was reinforced for less on-power flex, which increases the stability of the car and ensures improved on-power control. The new chassis was also redesigned to fit both the soft and hard composite radio boxes without modification.
3 Racing have released first teaser images of their forthcoming new Advance FF21 front-wheel drive touring car kit. The car makes use of the popular mid-motor design for a centralised weight balance and thus quick and predictable cornering. No official details beside the images are available yet but we bring you more updates as they surface.
