From ZZRacing come new quick release screw drivers with anodised aluminium handles. Coming with interchangeable 1.5mm, 2mm, 2.5mm and 3mm hex tool tips as well as a Philips and slotted blades the tools cover a wide range of applications. The hardened tool tips can be stored within the handle with the tool being available in black and blue colour.

From Fast Race and made to cut 1/8th buggy tyres off their wheel is this tyre cut device. The simple yet clever tool is usable with most of today’s 1/8th rims, made of sturdy aluminium and it makes re-using rims easier. An adjustable holder takes a standard scalpel blade so no unusual blades are needed once they need to be replaced. Using the device is pretty simply as you can see from the video that can be found after the break. The tyre cutter will become available by beginning of November.

Italian company Team Bianchi Racing TBR introduce the Starting Box carrying platform for the use in on-road and off-road nitro racing. Made from sturdy ABS plastic and sporting a rope as a lightweight handle, the platform allows to continently carry a starter box, fuel bottle, glow igniter, tools and spare plugs to have everything at hand when pitting your driver.

AKA’s Double Play nut driver creatively lightens the toolbox by putting a 7mm and 5.5mm wrench in one. The 7mm driver fits metric wheel nuts found on most popular 1/10th scale buggies and short course trucks, while the 5mm driver is common for shock nuts and most nuts on metric 1/8th scale cars. The machined aluminium handle and sleeve provides weight reduction over standard steel tools with the added durability of a hard-anodised finish. The tool become available by end of October.

Made for Muchmore’s Tire Sander Pro is this wheel hub adapter for 1/10th formula wheels. Constructed from aluminium and coming with a quick release mount the adapter holds both the ball raced front and the hex hub rear wheels without additional adapters. Using the tyre sander helps to remove excessive moulding on the tyre’s surface or to pre-scrub the running surface if track conditions call for it.

Italian company Fenix Racing introduce a multi-tool set featuring two quick-change tool handles and a range of metric tips. While the handles are machined from lightweight aluminium the tool tips are made from high-quality and precision-ground steel for maximised life and minimum wear. Included in the set are a total of 12 quick change tool tips in the form of 1.5mm to 3mm standard and 2mm to 3mm ball hex wrenches, 5mm to 7mm socket drivers, and 3.5mm and 4mm Phillips screw drivers. The new Revolution Design Racing Products Ultra Flat Head Carburettor Wrench is a dedicated flat head screwdriver to adjust and monitor the carb needle settings on nitro and gasoline engines. Offering a hardened spring steel 4×0.8mm tool tip the wrench is ideal to adjust the carburettor’s mixture needles while a gauge incorporated in the tool blade helps to monitor the adjustments made. Simply hold the gauge in place with the fingertips and rotate the screw driver into the desired direction to richen or lean out the carb setting – the red anodised indicator will clearly display the changes made. Part of the tool handle is also a rubber plug that helps to securely stop the engine by pressing the wrench against the flywheel.
