Italian company Pirani RC now have a helpful tool called The Roller available. Designed to fit a wide range of drivers the small cylinder is simply slid over the tool tip and a combination of 8 markings and an air bubble helps to make exact 1/16th or 1/8th of a turn adjustments to toe and camber angle adjustment screws and pivot balls. At only 20mm diameter it is also very handy and easy to store.

MCD Racing have new setup tool for large scale cars available in the form of a camber and ride height gauge. The camber gauge allows measuring the wheel’s camber angles in a -10 to +10 degree range while the ride height tool measures in a 20mm to 70mm range. An extended arm allows to virtually measure on all parts of the chassis for improved usability and precision. The tools are made from high-impact plastic and work with 1/5 and 1/6 scale cars, buggies and trucks.

Avid introduce the 12mm shock and turnbuckle tool for Team Associated 1/10th buggies such as the B5, B44.2 and T4.2. The tool works with Associated, JConcepts and Lunsford turnbuckles and can also be used to hold the shock bottom of the new AE 12mm shocks. The tool also mimics the servo mounting pattern of the B44 buggy allowing to mount the servo to the mounts outside of the chassis meaning everything will be nice, centred and tweak-free. Once the assembly is squared up detach it from the tool and mount it to the chassis. The tool is CNC-machined from 6061 aluminium and comes black anodised with silver edges and laser-etched logo.

Hudy now have a long blade 3.0mm slotted screwdriver available. Coming with a lightweight composite handle and a hand-made Hudy spring steel tip the screwdriver is ideal for nitro engine carburettor adjustment duties due to its long design that helps to reach the carb needles of off-road vehicles even with a truggy body fitted.

GForce soon have new aluminium pit tools available in the form of a shock holder and parts tray. Starting with the shock holder, the all-aluminium part takes a maximum of four shock absorbers with a diameter of up to 13mm and a total body and piston rod length of 50mm. An inner 10.5mm and four outer 4mm holes also hold tools and wrenches needed for shock (re)building. The shock holder is available in blue and black colour. Also new is a 120x150mm parts tray, again made from aluminium and sporting a total of three compartments for small parts such as screws, nuts, bearings, bodyclips and more. Like the shock holder the parts tray is available in blue and black anodising.

GForce soon have a tyre truer for 1/10th touring car tyres available. Coming in a black or blue all-aluminium case the machine is equipped with a high torque motor and LED indicators for the selectable speed. Furthermore the direction of rotation can be changed and the device is best used to scrub and true fresh-out-of-the-pack touring car tyres before using them on the track.
