Xceed hardware box, Centax tools & Nitromax

Xceed have introduced a number of new items including a larger version of their very popular hardware boxes. The large one fits really well in most popular trolley bags and is ideal for larger items such as offroad shocks and springs, or nylon and metal parts for various other equipment. The hardware boxes are made from a very strong plastic and the lid can be closed really well. Other new items include a centax clutch adjustment tool to adjust the spring tension net on various on road clutches. Xceed have also released a stand for their previously available tyre gluing holder to make it easier. Finally for event organisers there is 2 new Nitromax floaters for 16% and 25% to check the legality of fuel. Comes complete with the bottle and cap.

ProTek RC Pit Caddy

ProTek RC have released their new Pit Caddy which features two large sides with several convenient pockets for storing all of your tools and gear. Three four-inch outer pockets are perfect for housing glow igniters, temp guns, and glow-plug wrenches while ten smaller loops inside the Pit Caddy neatly hold your tuning screwdrivers and hand tools needed for on-the-fly adjustments. Finally, it has two drawstring pockets for securing your fuel bottles so that they won’t accidentally tip over during transport.

Yeah Racing 3-in-1 shock shaft pliers

Yeah Racing introduce these 3-in-1 shock shaft pliers made from high-quality aluminium. They are designed to protect 1/10th and 1/8th scale shock shafts from becoming damaged when attaching or detaching the ball ends. The ergonomic design makes for convenient working and the pliers also incorporate holes to measure metrical pins and screws so you do not have to juggle around with a calliper to find out the correct pin or screw diameter. The pliers are available in your choice of blue or black anodising.

Yeah Racing alloy setup wheels

Yeah Racing introduce these aluminium 1/10th scale on-road setup wheels. They are made from aluminium, come blue or black anodised and feature a rubber O-ring for a secure stand on the setup-up board or pit table while adjusting toe and camber setting on your car’s suspension.

Yeah Racing 2-in-1 on-road gauge

Yeah Racing introduce a 2 in 1 ride height and droop gauge for the use with 1/12th and 1/10th on-road chassis. The gauge is designed to measure the chassis’ ride height from 3.6mm to 8mm in 0.2mm increments and the suspension droop from 2mm to 9.2mm. The tool machined from aluminium and is available in black or blue colour.

Xceed Nitromax instrument, clutch & glueing tools

New from Xceed come several new parts in the form of two Nitromax fuel checkers, Centax clutch adjustment tools and a table for the company’s tire gluing jig. Starting with the fuel checker, the Nitromax-16 and Nitromax-25 are designed to check nitro fuel legality at sanctioned races. The floaters are available as 16% and 25% variant, made from aluminium and come laser-etched for easy identification. Also new are a dedicated adjustment tool for the spring of Centax on-road clutches and a stand for Xceed’s tire glueing jig to make preparing your 1/8th buggy tires easier.

Kyosho 1/8th off-road ride height gauge

New from Kyosho comes this ride height gauge for the use with 1/8th off-road vehicles. It sports grooves at 24, 26, 28 and 30mm with the stick simply being vertically held against the chassis plate for fast and effective ground clearance measurement. It comes machined from aluminium, is gun metal anodized and laser-etched.

ProTek RC TruTorque shock pliers

The ProTek RC ‘TruTorque’ shock pliers are a must for any serious racer who routinely tunes their suspension package. The “nut-cracker” shape of the all-aluminum pliers allows users to gauge the compression applied to the part that is held. The surface of the pliers has been anodized black and features a slight texture to ensure a solid hold. Whether you need to grab ahold of a shock shaft for installing new shock ends or you need to secure your shock body for installing a shock cap, these pliers are up to the task. They also have a stepped post for snapping 1/10-scale and 1/8-scale ball ends in or out.
