Racing Experience have introduced a new range of tools and trolley bag. Made from high speed steel, the Racing Experience tips are super strong and so don’t need any extra coating. Ground and anodized to ensure precision and reduce slipping, the purple anodised handles have a rounded end that doesn’t hurt the palm of the hand. The new trolley bag comes with a set of composite drawers, a large side door, a pair of strong wheels and a retractable handle. Racers can carry a 1/8th buggy even with wheels and wing. CRC have released this new carbon fibre flywheel tool for the Losi 8ight and 8ight-T. Now you can properly tighten the clutch nut on your flywheel without damaging the flywheel by using a set of pliers. Also new from CRC is their updated range of tube lube that has been re-worked, re-lubed, & re-loaded, with better packaging for less leaks, and more available weights including 5000, 10000, 20000 and 30000.
The new Vampire Racing tools are designed to the highest possible standards, with high quality knurled black anodised aluminium handles. RPM have introduced shock body and cap wrenches for the Traxxas line of 1/10th scale shocks. Molded from one of their secret blends of nylons, it makes them a perfect choice to keep those expensive aluminium shocks from getting scuffed up from metal tools. The Body Wrench slips effortlessly over the body of the shock while the hex of the shock body seats in an upper recess. The Cap Wrench then slips over the shock cap and with a simple twist of the wrist, the cap easily unscrews off of the shock body. No extra tools required and virtually no possibility of scuffing up or damaging the body or shock cap. RPM Shock Body and Cap Wrenches are designed for use on most 1/10th scale Traxxas shocks including the aluminium ‘Big Bore’ versions. However, they will not work with Traxxas Revo or Jato shocks.
We wrote about these tools back in January when they were first announced but there have been some additions to the range since then, mostly for gas racers. Made from the highest quality materials to the strictest tolerances for superior performance, comfort and reliability, the diamond pattern grips make the driver handles easy to hold, while three flat sides keep tools from rolling off the pit table. Indicating grooves let you identify tip sizes at a glance and each handle has end caps with a rubber O-ring that allows it to rotate in the palm. The tips are made of CNC machined spring steel and can be retracted into the handles for storage, or to adjust for the desired length. The new additions include a clutch nut wrench, a flywheel holder & clutch gap tool and finally a flywheel puller. Available in US in mid-June.
