RB Complete clutch tool set

RB have developed a complete clutch tool set for 1/8 buggy and truggy, which is presented in a handy box. Removing the difficulties of assembling and disassembling your clutch shoe and its spring, a 1/4 of a turn and the clutch is mounted or removed without any risk of damaging parts. These tools can be used on nearly all current clutches and the set includes a flywheel removal tool, flywheel wrench, driver handle, collet wrench, allen key, 1/8th scale wheel nut socket, clutch shoe removal tool and clutch shoe fitting tool.

Craft RC Setup boards & Decal

Craft RC have announced that they are now selling 1/8th and 1/10th scale lightweight setup boards and decals for use with both on road and off road chassis’. The boards are made of a high quality super flat material and the decals are the usual quality from Craft RC. Easy to apply, fuel resistant and will stay good a long time, they are available in a wide range of different designs.

Hudy have released this quick camber gauge for 1/10 electric and nitro touring cars, which allows you to perform quick & easy camber checks for 3 most frequently-used wheel camber angles: 1.5, 2.0, and 2.5°. Lightweight, compact, and easy to use it has been precision machined from high-grade graphite material. Individually inspected by special inspection tool to verify the accuracy of all angles it has been fine color printed for instant recognition of camber angle and sports side cutouts to allow clearance for wheel axles.

ProTek RC P-8 Super hauler bag

ProTek R/C release their P-8 1/8th scale buggy super hauler bag with plastic inner boxes. This bag was designed from the ground up for 1/8th scale buggy racers and has space on top under a covered flap for storing all your tools, a place on the back for your setup board and storage compartments on the side for storing your setup equipment or other tools. Inside the bag has three layers of corrugated plastic drawers, with four split draws on the bottom (two each side by side above each other) and one large drawer on the top that is big enough to hold a 1/8th scale buggy with wing and wheels attached. In addition, it is also very easy to tow the bag around the track as it features a retractable handle and smooth trolley wheels. Also included is a carrying strap that can be moved out of the way to access tools in the top compartment, or adjusted to carry the bag.

Hudy Flywheel holder/wheel nut tool

Hudy have announced the release of this flywheel holder/wheel nut tool for 1/8 off-road buggy & truggy. CNC-machined from premium Swiss 7075 T6 aluminium, the lightweight design ensures the tool is super light while still ergonomic for comfortable holding and maximum grip. The tool is hard coated and additionally black coated using the world’s most modern fully-automatic, robot-operated hard coating line to ensure the highest quality. The Flywheel Holder works with all modern RC nitro car flywheels with 2, 3, and 4-pin designs, while the other side of the tool was specially developed to work on 17mm wheel nuts in dirty and abusive conditions.

Team Epic I-Gauss Rotor tester

Team Epic have released the I-Gauss, a simple to use tool to test the strength of your rotor. Brushless motors go bad when the rotor loses its magnetic strength due to the demagnetizing effects of the stator while the motor is under power. When the rotor loses its magnetic field your motor will lose bottom end, run hotter and possibly burn up the stator windings. Potentially a great tool for ROAR spec class racers for tuning your motors magnet strength for the track. Available mid July.

Hudy Body Gauge for 1/10 Nitro TC

Hudy have released this unique body gauge for checking that nitro touring body and wing sizes conform to IFMAR, ROAR, FEMCA and EFRA rules. The body gauge measures track-width, body height, rear body clearance, wing side dams and wing angle and is a must have for all tracks & clubs, as well as serious racers.
