Hitec HFP-20 Digital Servo Programmer

Hitec have released this digital servo programmer for use with their 7000 series G2 digital servos called the HFP-20. Also featuring a servo tester, this programmer allows you to set many functions in the servo such as overload protection settings which enables you to shut down the servo if there is too much load current, maximum angle of servo rotation, direction of rotation, servo speed, fail safe settings, end point position, neutral position and more. The servo testing function works with all brands of servos and allows you to test the receiver voltage, servo resolution and other parameters and can be done either manually or using a built in automatic test function.

Exotek Racing Micro Arbor

Exotek Racing have released this foam tire truer arbor for micros and minis, designed to work with any foam tire truer that has an 8mm shaft such as those made by Hudy, Ofna, Corally or Integy. Not only that but the Exotek Micro Arbor is modular in that you select the wheel lock that matches your vehicle having designed 3 different styles to work with many different vehicles and each of the 3 styles are available separately. The blue wheel lock is suitable for the RC18T, RC18B, RC18R, MINI T (front and rear), Mini Slider (front and rear), MINI LST, Mini Inferno and Vendetta, while the yellow wheel lock works with the M18T, M18 PRO, M18 (requires M18 wheel hub) and MICRO RS4 (requires M18 wheel hub) and finally the red wheel lock works with the Scalpel and Recoil.

3 Racing Automatic Tire Truer Version 2.0

3 Racing, makers of after market upgrade parts for R/C Cars, have just released the 2nd version of their Automatic tire truer. As with the first generation truer, it has a variable speed fully-automatic truing cycle, adjustable sanding edge and comes supplied with wheel adaptors for 1/8, 1/10 and 1/12 scale tires. What’s new is that you can now power it using built in batteries, similar to a starter box, it now has a handle and comes supplied in an extra light-weight protection box.

Edit RC have released these rather green but handy Connectable Parts Box for easy storage of all your small workbench parts. Ideal for shims, e-clips, washers, crystals, diff balls, screws, nuts, pivot balls, ball ends, body clips and much more. Each small box interconnects with other parts boxes so you can have any combination of required parts handy for multiple tasks. No need to remove box contents to re-organize, just detach the boxes and re-attach as needed. Each package contains six connected parts boxes.

Eagle Racing Camber gauge

Eagle Racing have released details about their new camber gauge that has a measurement range of plus or minus 10 degrees. Available in blue, light blue, purple, red or black, this aluminium gauge features the Eagle Racing logo and can accurately measure the camber angle on most circuit based cars.

Designed for use with most 1/8 and 1/10 on and off road drive shafts with a 3mm pin, this tool offers a fast and easy way to replace worn drive shaft pins with just this tool and a hammer. Although not included with the tool, Team Titan also sell 3 different versions of 3mm pin – 10.8mm for 1/10th On-Road, 11.8mm for 1/8th On-Road and 13.8mm for 1/8th Off-Road.

Ultimate Racing Tire Balancer

Ultimate Racing have released details about their new tire balancer, which works with the wheels of buggies, rally game cars and truggies. After many tests and exchange of opinions with their team drivers, UR came to the conclusion that unbalanced wheels produce unnecessary vibrations to the shock absorber, affecting both traction and stability of the cars while jumping. To take care of this problem they have developed this system to balance wheel weight which works by helping to find the heaviest part of the wheel, and in turn allowing you to balance it through the use of the UR balancing paste which can be applied to the opposite side of the rim.
