Its been a while since we heard from the customisation guys at Upgrade RC, well now they are back with release of the Pro Mat. This modular mat is one of a kind, designed for the racer and enthusiast alike, the new Upgrade Pro Mat offers a multitude of work space options. Made from the same durable material as their standard pit mat, the Pro Mat can be used with other Pro Mats to extend your work space as needed. The Pro Mat comes with 1 center and 2 side pieces. Other Pro Mats can be purchased to extend your work space.

JP Racing sleeve tool

French engine company, JP Racing, have released their latest tool to help people with the construction and deconstruction of their engines. Their latest product is this sleeve tool which has been made for .12 engines and compliments the previously released version for .21 engines. What it does is make the removal of the sleeve from the casing a simple task, just press it into the sleeve and pull it out, easy and most importantly eliminates the damage caused by the use of cable ties and other removal methods.

Morotech release options for RDX Phi

Morotech release options for RDX Phi

Japanese firm Morotech have today released these new items for use with the new Corally RDX Phi touring car. First up is this rather cool looking, and very light, carbon fiber tool to aid in the adjustment of the differentials on the Phi. The forks on the tool go into the drive cups on the diff and allow you to check if its slipping or not by allowing you to turn the pulley while both ends of the diff are held from rotating. The other piece from Morotech are these diff seal protectors that come in a pack of 8 and are available for the 42T and the 36T diff pulleys.

Himoto Racing have announced the release of their new range of tools, and tool set, comprising of 17 different tools, including hex drivers, philips head, flat heads, nut spinners and other various items. Featuring read anodised knurled handles, the tools are basically the same as whats currently on the market with the exception of the nut spinnners which look like nice single piece tools with both handle and shaft anodised red. Expect a mid May release.

Hudy Adapter for 1/18 Xray M18 Pro

Hudy, the Slovakian sister company to Xray, have released this new CNC-machined alu wheel adapter to mount hex-drive micro wheels, such as those found on the Xray M18 Pro. The wheel adaptor fits onto the Hudy Micro tire truer and thus makes it possible to true down these type of wheels.

Slapmaster, a company run by Brian Bodine who has 22 years of on road racing experience, have announced the release of the Brush Cavity Tool “Two”.  If you like to use a hole in the center of a brush to further tune your motor, this might just be the easiest tool to use on the market. It will work with upright, laydown and Checkpoint brushes, and the tool comes with a 1.5mm and a 1.85mm drill bit to work with, the bits being finger operated so no power tools are required. Simply lay the brush in the slot, hold it down with your thumb, select the bit size, insert it into the hole & twist away for a perfectly centered hole in the end of your brush.

More stuff from Pro-Line today, this time its this lexan Car Jack car stand which has all the features you have ever wanted in a car stand. Its lightweight, using super light lexan material, which is also very durable and the use of supplied adhesive-backed foam provides an anti-skid surface on the top and bottom of the stand. Finally, because the stand is supplied as clear lexan, you can custom paint it in any way you wish, just as you would with your car body.

Charge RC bag and tool case

Japanese firm, Charge RC, have shown prototypes of their upcoming racing bag/case on their website. The bag above is a general purpose padded nylon bag that features internal dividers that can be easily rearranged using the attached velcro while the outside of the bag sports a large embroidered Charge RC logo. The tool case shown on their site is for carrying your tools safely and sports space for up to 18 different tools, all held in place by elastic loops, and again the outside cover sports a large embroidered Charge RC logo. No final release date, or price, has been set yet.
