Xceed have introduced their new V2 17mm wheel nut wrench for 1/8th scale buggies, trucks and GT cars. Constructed from aluminium and coming in a grey and green surface finish, the lightweight wrench allows for easy tightening and undoing of 17mm wheel nuts, even of heavily jammed serrated wheel nuts. Laser-etched logos round out the visual appearance.
T-Works have announced the release of their new exhaust spring tool. It allows for easy installation and removal of the tiny springs used to hold nitro engine exhaust system together with the small hook atop the 3mm x 120mm blade allows to access and handle even the most delicate springs. The tool uses T-Works’ standard tool handle to blend nicely into the company’s ever-growing tool range.

It includes four precision-machined carbon fibre tools that allow for easy building, setup and maintenance of the car’s unique shock absorbers as well as the gear differential. It pairs the popular 1up Racing Pro Car Stand with beautiful carbon fibre, instantly elevating the look of any pit. Each Elevate Series Pro Car Stand is assembled by hand at 1up Racing’s headquarters in Orange County, California and it uses carbon fibre parts made in house at RC Maker in Australia with locally manufactured material. Pro Car Stands are moulded from extremely dense and durable foam material designed to hold up to years of abuse and they are tested and proven to be resistant to spilled tyre additive and nitro fuel. The car stand measures 90x210x25mm with the top surface being 80x200mm in size.
T-Works have introduced their new 3x150mm engine screwdriver that helps to adjust carburettor settings even when using tall body shells. The long blade helps to reach even through large body shell, making engine tuning a breeze. The tool uses a lightweight aluminium tool handle and a hardened steel 3mm blade.

Coming from Yeah Racing is a multi-functional wheel well marker for 1/8th scale on-road cars. Made of carbon fibre and aluminium the tool allows for easy marking of 68mm IC track front, 76mm IC Track rear, and 105mm GT wheel wells, ensuring repeatable results every time. To mark the wheel wells, simply place the tool outside the body shell with the wheel nut as the centre point and draw the respective wheel well using a permanent marker. The included aluminium struts help keeping the jig in an upright position. The design also includes holes to mark the lower body height in 9mm to 15mm positions.

The 1up Racing Pro Pit Iron soldering set brings forward the next generation in racer-oriented soldering irons. The Pro soldering iron is small but very powerful and when connected to a 6-cell LiPo or a 24v power source, the iron heats and is ready to use in under 10 seconds. An easy-to-read LCD display offers accurate adjustment of the 100°C to 400°C temperature range. The 1up Boost mode offers a nearly instant temperature increase to 450°C at the press of a button, making easy work of thick gauge wires. The Pro Pit Iron automatically cools to 200°C after two minutes of inactivity to prolong the life of the tip, and shuts down completely after ten minutes of inactivity. Torpine have introduced their new ball joint and turnbuckle assembly tool that is usable with both open and closed type ball cups. The design of the tool allows the assembly of a complete rod in one operation without damaging the ball joints, as it can happen when using pliers. To use the tool, the ball joints are inserted into the corresponding fittings on the left and right hand side of the tool and the turnbuckle is placed in the middle fitting. Then the outer brackets are pushed towards the turnbuckle so that the thread is right in front of the ball cup. Now the turnbuckle can be rotated with side pressure and a suitable turnbuckle tool. When the desired length of the complete rod is reached, the finished rod can be removed from the jig.
