Pro-Line Brawler solid axle monster truck wheels

Pro-Line have introduced the Brawler solid axle monster truck wheels for vehicles such as the Tamiya Clod Buster. A perfect match for Pro-Line’s 2.6″ Destroyer tyres the Brawler is a 12mm hex glue up style wheel with a black hub cap that completely covers up the non-scale looking wheel nut, giving any truck the ultimate scale look. Available in two variants, the stock offset version has the same wheel offset as the stock Clod Buster wheels, while the wider offset version is 17.5mm wider per side making the truck 35mm wider overall than stock. The wheels come as pairs, including hardware and in white or grey colour.

DE Racing Speedway SC 1/10th oval racing wheels

Coming from DE Racing are the Speedway SC wheel for 1/10th scale oval racing using SC-based Modified or Late Model kits. They feature the Sure-Lock system, which is comprised of radial ribs that lock the wheel and foam insert together, eliminating many inconsistencies that come from an insert that is free to move around, such as pressing the wheel out from the center of the tyre. The wheel fit most 2.2″/3.0″ short course tyres and it is available for the Team Associated SC10/SC5M and the front and rear of the Traxxas Slash.

VP Pro 1/8th buggy tyre holder

Coming from VP Pro is the Tyre Collector for 1/8th scale buggy wheels. Made from aluminium and designed to hold all industry-standard 17mm hex rims the tyre holder helps to easily and conveniently store tyre without having to worry about mixing them up. The tool comes black anodised and with laser-etched VP Pro markings.

Kyosho Optima 2016 option parts

Kyosho have introduced a range of option parts for the Optima 2016 re-release buggy. First up is an aluminium servo mount that makes for improved stiffness and cooler looks. The part comes gun metal anodised and it includes mounting hardware. Also new are hard-anodised 7075 alloy main chassis rails for improved looks and durability. On the performance side of things, Kyosho have soft compound pin tyres to offer. Measuring 43x86x40mm the tyres fit the Optima’s kit rims and the softer rubber compound improves traction and side bite. Finally comes a 2-piece set of 5-spoke rims for the Optima re-release buggy. Matching the kit’s design the rims come in black colour to make for a different visual appearance.

Absima 1/10th buggy dish rims

German company Absima have introduced a range of 1/10th buggy rims for vehicles with 12mm or 14mm hex wheel adapters. Coming in four specifications including 12mm hex 2WD front, 4WD front, and a general rear variant as well as 14mm 4WD front and 4WD rear variants the rims are moulded from lightweight yet durable Pro Flexlight material and they are available in a range of colours including white, yellow, green and orange and in sets of two rims.

Jason Snyder launches RawSpeed brand

Jason Snyder, known for his popular YouTube channel, has introduced his own U.S. based RC accessory company named RawSpeed. Focussing on racers, the product range will include items such as tyres, wheels, inserts and body shells for both 1/10th and 1/8th scale cars. The first items released include the Rocket 1/10th buggy rear tyre for indoor clay tracks as well as the Enigma 1/10th buggy front tyre, again dedicated for indoor clay tracks and featuring a directional design for more or less aggressive steering response. Also part of the initial release are the Black Thunder closed cell inserts, the Tru-Spin 1/10th buggy wheels as well as 3D-printed ride height gauges. Other items include merchandising such as 3D embroidered hats and T-shirts.

Hot Race introduce improved 1/8th on-road rims

Italian company Hot Race Tyres have introduced updated rims for their pre-mounted 1/8th on-road wheels. Offering optimised flex characteristics due to new spoke reinforcements the rims will make for better traction and less strain of the outer wheel portion. This will also lead to a more consistent tyre throughout the run and overall improved performance. On top of this the new wheels will also improve the car’s handling in high traction conditions as it makes for a smoother and faster ride. The new wheels will hit the stores at the end of March.

Xray 1/10th buggy 10-piece wheel packs

Xray have introduced new 1/10th buggy wheel packs for 2WD and 4WD cars. Made for their line of XB2 and XB4 buggies the wheels are moulded from high-quality material to withstand impacts without damage while offering the right amount of flexibility at the same time. The wheels are available as 2WD front, 4WD front and general rear variant, they make use of 12mm wheel hexes and come in packs of 10 pieces. Beside Xray’s own 1/10th buggies the rims also fit many other cars that make use of the respective wheel off-set.
