JConcepts Axial Yeti Vengeance 2.2

Coming from JConcepts and made for the Axial Yeti equipped with 2.2″ tyres are the new 2.2″ Axial Yeti 12mm glue-on wheels. The 8-spoke 1-piece wheel is a smooth design, incorporating a triangle type cut-out of spokes around the centre for heavy street appeal. The design leaves the natural colour of the wheel showing inside the spokes which adds a touch of mystery and depth. In-between the spoke design rests the dividing sections which break up the pattern adding a bit of bite to the overall design. The entire face of the wheel has been plated with a silver coating which gives the Yeti owner a little more luxurious look to match-up to a variety of imaginary looks. Each package contains four wheels, 12mm plastic hexes, wheel adaptors to give the user a front and rear wheel offset and hardware to make the installation complete. The adaptors attach with the included eight, 2.5x8mm screws to provide beefy security. In addition, each wheel includes a solid and open centre cap which are attached with the included eight, 2.5x6mm socket head cap screws.

Sweep 2.4" 1/10th buggy wheels & inserts

Sweep have introduced new 2.4″ rims and inserts for 1/10th electric buggies. The rims are made of a special nylon mixture that will offer optimised strength to make for improved traction and easy handling over the rough parts of the track. They utilise 12mm wheel hex adapters and are usable with most new generation 2.4″ tyres. As for the inserts, they are designed to perfectly match with the new wheels and latest generation of low profile 2.4″ tyres and like the wheels they are available as 2WD front, 4WD front and 2WD/4WD rear variants.

Avid Satellite limited edition 2.2

Avid’s Satellite 2.2″ disc wheels are now also available in a limited edition black colour variant. Coming as 2WD front and 2WD/4WD rear variant the wheels feature a 12mm hex, making them usable for all Team Associated B5 and Kyosho RB6 buggies. The durable and light wheels sport an angled glue catch bead, contoured inner wheel spokes and a swirl pattern that is designed to mate with serrated locking nuts to keep the wheels secure. Axial Yeti XL & SCX10 option parts

Axial have a range of new parts for the Yeti XL and SCX10 off-road vehicles available. First up is the 3.8 Falken Wildpeak M/T all terrain tyre that will offer tons of traction on many surfaces, even with its rather conservative pattern. It comes as pairs in sticky R35 compound, including foam inserts and the tyre fits the Yeti XL off-road buggy.

New from Pro-Line comes the Flat Iron XL 2.2″ G8 rock terrain tyre as well as two new 2.2″ bead-loc wheels. Starting with the tyre, it follows the “bigger is better” mantra while still fitting into existing rules. The Flat Iron tread pattern combines scale realism and all out rock climbing performance as the large lug pattern combined with siping allows the tyre to have the perfect amount of flex under throttle acceleration. Included with the pair of tyres come two memory foam inserts.

The black 6-spoke wheels feature a silver face section for scale looks and each pair of wheels includes a solid and open centre cap which brings even more detail to the wheel. Depending on the desired look or axle length of the vehicle, drivers can choose whichever is best for their individual needs. The caps are attached with the included six, 2x6mm socket head cap screws. New from JConcepts comes the Hustle wheel for the Traxxas Slash and Slash 4×4 short course trucks. The Hustle wheel takes into account the durability needs of the Slash racer without compromising looks. 6-spoke design rotates about the centre of the wheel with a deep recess in the centre which allows plenty of footing for wheel locknuts. The base features the black wheel appearance and 6 moulded mock locknuts which bring a realistic look. In-between the spread 6 spokes rests small grooves which break up the pattern adding a split personality to the overall design. The entire face of the wheel has been plated with a silver coating which gives racers a little more luxurious look to match-up to the variety of 1:1 inspired bodies on the market. The moulded black colour of the wheel shows through in the extra depth of the spokes which was specifically designed into the wheel.
