RC Devil Burdock high end crawler wheels

RC Devil have announced the release of their new high end crawler wheels with dynamic low centre of gravity named Burdock. Using a revolutionary concept, the wheels are filled with 3mm lead balls, which automatically move with gravity to the lowest point in the wheel, resulting maximum grip and no oscillation caused by abruptly stopping the tire like in pendulum systems. The weight is variable weight by using more or less lead balls while wheel adapter uses distance shims for variable offset, with a possible offset on one wheel of 5mm. All metal parts have been manufactured from T6 7075 aluminium, with polycarbonate transparent discs for interior view in the wheel. The weight of the wheels without lead balls and tire is 125g, while the total weight of a wheel including lead balls and without tire is 245g. Available in wine-red and venom-green.

Sweep Racing 6ix-Pak wheels

Sweep Racing have announced the release of their all new 83mm 6ix-Pak wheels, made for the growing 8th GT class. Fitted to the car with a 17mm hex, they are made out of indestructible Virgin Dupont nylon, the same as used in their V2 dish wheels. Available in black, white and yellow, they feature a lightened spoke design, special cavity design preventing wheel nuts backing off and rougher surface finish on the gluing surfaces for easier assembly.

F.V.S.S. Aero wheel covers

F.V.S.S. Racing Team have released their new Aero wheel covers which are made from lexan and given a carbon look. The covers claim to give greater driving precision and steering, encouraging greater top speed by eliminating the air turbulence that is created with traditional rims.

Axial Beadlocks, Wheel weights & Hardline body

New from Axial are these 2.2 VWS beadlock wheels and spare rings for the XR10. The wheel set includes black laser etched beadlock rings and are compatible with Vanquish product’s patented wheel weight systems. Features a narrow offset to increase steering response and strength. Also new from Axial is their new Internal wheel weight system (Patent Pending) that allows for precise and easy addition of weight to your Axial 2.2 and 1.9 Beadlocks. Purchase the Internal Weight Ring to add weight and increase stability on difficult obstacles. To add even more weight use the Internal Wheel Weight Inserts to fine tune the total weight. AKA Cityblock & Gridiron tires & Cyclone SC wheels

AKA have announced the release of the Cityblock SC and Gridiron SC tires designed specifically for the 1/10 short course trucks. Made to fit the stock wheels from all the popular short course trucks, they feature a 2.2”/3” bead design and an inner carcass design made to perfectly fit the industry standard AKA closed cell foams. The result is a much more controlled outer sidewall for more consistent handling and tread wear. The Cityblock pattern is their best selling tread pattern and will be the most versatile SC tire available, while the Gridiron is suited to high bite blue grooved tracks with little dust where a short pin is a must to keep the truck consistent. AKA have also released the Cyclone SC wheel that fit all standard 2.2″/3″ short course tires and are compatible with Associated, HPI, Jammin, Kyosho and Traxxas trucks. All wheels are made from the same proprietary nylon blend as the the 1:8 AKA wheels and will be released in black and come two to a bag. Expect September releases for all products.
