Cole Odgen continues with Reds Racing

Reds Racing have announced the contract renewal with Cole Odgen for 2015. Cole collected some incredible finishes with Reds in 2014, including 1st in Pro Buggy at the Fall Brawl, 1st in Pro Buggy and Truggy at the Southern Nationals, 1st in Pro Buggy and Truggy at the Southern Indoor Championship and more. His campaign then culminated in participating at his first World Championship landing him as a quarter finalist. Cole will be attending all the major events in 2015 including the NeoBuggy race in April and he has the following to say:

Signing with Reds for 2015 is another step into my future of success. I’m very happy to be with Reds for another year, and using these high quality engines for my power plants is an honor. Huge thanks to Marco Rossi, Mario Rossi, and Alex Pilson for their support and I look forward to seeing everyone at the races!

Tebo & Cavalieri join Mx brand

Maxima announce the signing of Jared Tebo and Ryan Cavalieri to run their Mx engines and nitro fuel through to the end of 2016. Mx is Maxima’s US brand, with the engines and fuel being the same as the popular Maxima branded products.

Mx and Maxima aims to improve greatly through the feedback of both Jared and Ryan and it was great that pre-season testing produced happy faces all-round. Mx and Maxima would like to take this opportunity to thank all the sponsors of Jared and Ryan for supporting them and making it possible for Mx and Maxima to tag along.

Peter Pinisch continues with Reedy

Long-time Reedy factory driver Peter Pinisch has signed a contract extension and will continue to use Reedy motors, batteries, ESCs, and accessories in his 2015 racing campaign. Pinisch, a former European champion, 3-time World Championship finalist, and regular EOS finalist, will concentrate on the EOS Series, European Championships, Austrian Nationals, and IFMAR World Championships as well as smaller regional events.

Christopher Svensson joins Mugen factory team

Multiple European Championships main finalist Christoffer Svensson has joined the Mugen Seiki factory team for the 2015 season and beyond. Christoffer will attend both national and international events using Mugen’s line of competition off-road kits.

Bornhorst & Weatherholt now Alpha Plus powered

Alpha Plus announce the signing of Joe Bornhorst and Derek Weatherholt to strengthen the US team along team manager Ryan Lutz. The two drivers are both Midwest fast guys and have shown their potential already. Both are poised to make 2015 be break out years for themselves in the Nitro Buggy and Truggy classes and Alpha Plus is pleased to have them on board.

Alexander Hagberg renews with Xray

Alexander Hagberg renews with Xray

Xray have announced that long time team driver and 2014 IFMAR 200mm Gas On-road World Champion Alexander Hagberg has extended his contract for 2015. Alexander has been with Xray since “ever” and the team cooperation has been successful over the years with Alex being a great supporter and member of the development team. The Swede will attend the European 1/10th Electric and Nitro Touring Championships, the 1/12th Euros, the ETS and many other races beside the local Swedish Cup and Nationals in 2015 and he has the following to say:

I have been racing for Xray ever since the start of my international racing career. Over the years we have built a strong and successful relationship which has resulted in 2014 into my best achievements gaining the title of World and European Champion. The titles I have achieved last year have been a culmination of our long term hard and dedicated work and I am more than happy to announce that for 2015 I will continue with Xray team and will do my best to repeat the success also this racing season.

Jan Ratheisky teams up with LRP

German electric on-road frontrunner Jan Ratheisky has recently teamed up with LRP to run the company’s electric brushless motors, speed controllers, battery packs, chargers and power supplies. The Euro Touring Series Formula champion and Pro Stock Vice champion will also assist with product development. Jan’s 2015 event schedule includes the LRP Touring Car Masters, the ETS and also the Euros and German nationals and he has the following to say about the deal:

During last year’s European Championships in Spain I was impressed by the team work of the LRP crew and I was involved in the tests right from the start. After a couple of practice runs and nice talks with Ales and Jürgen I was offered a team drive – an offer I could not deny.

Jan Ratheisky joins Savox Factory Team

Savox have announced the signing of Euro Touring Series Formula Champion and Pro Stock Vice Champion Jan Rathiesky to their factory team. The Formula class winner of the opening round of the Euro Touring Series will use the Savox line of servos in his formula and 1/10th electric touring cars during his 2015 campaign.
