T.O.P. Racing have announced that top Chinese racer Wang Hai Feng has officially joined their team starting this month. The former Hot Bodies driver and TITC stock class winner is going to play a major role in T.O.P.’s market development and product promotion in mainland China.

Indonesian Team Associated and Reedy products distributor Pegasus RC & Hobby Shop have announced the signing of Bowie Ginting. The 18 year old has numerous national titles in 1/10 GP, 1/8 GP and 1/10 EP and is Indonesia’s leading driver in the on road scene. Bowie is said to be delighted to run the brand new AE TC6.1 along with Reedy Electronics for the rest of the 2012 season.

VP Pro have announced the signing of 2-times European Champion Davide Tortorici to their factory squad for the 2012 season. The Mugen/Bliss racer was top qualifier at last weekend’s Italian National season opener and won the rain shortened Euros warmup in Fehring Austria in late April.

Taking top honors after three rounds of highly competitive qualifying rounds racing with heavy hitters, Taylor Larsen quickly rose to the number one starting position on the grid for the 2wd Modified Truck A-main. At the sound of the tone for the start of the first A-main of three, Taylor Larsen used the momentum of his first qualifying position and never looked back to cross the finish line in first. In equally dominant fashion he drove consistently in the second A-main to gain the overall points to claim the class as his own.

Serpent have announced that they have signed top Australian driver Ryan Maker to their team. Ryan will mainly run the Serpent 411 in the 1/10 EP TC class, but will also run the Serpent 966 in the 1/8 scale class. Ryan will continue to run Speed Passion electronics in his touring car and will run Reds Racing engines in his 1/8th scale.

10 year old Max Mört from Finland has joined the JQ Products factory team. Being part of the JQ family for a few years now the young Scandinavian has been able to secure a full factory team ride. Here is how it went down, in JQ’s own words:

Team Hobbywing have signed former IFMAR World Champion Andy Moore to their team. Andy will use the newest Hobbywing Xerun V3 speed controller and attend most of the highest level events around the World this year. Andy is the first top driver in Team Hobbywing and with his huge amount of racing experience is a perfect fit on the team and helpful to the development.
