VP PowerMaster signs Cole Ogden

Following the signing of Tekno’s Joe Bornhorst VP PowerMaster R/C Hobby Fuels have also announced the addition of champion caliber driver Cole Ogden to the VP Racing Fuels PowerMaster national race team. Ogden is from McDonough, Georgia and finished 2nd in 1/8 Pro Buggy at the 2019 Southern Indoor Championships in his PowerMaster team debut. Using PowerMaster Pro Race 30, he will compete and represent the brand as a product spokesperson at RCGP events in the Philippines, Spain, Italy, and the United States and will help VP establish the east coast market in America. “I am extremely excited to have Joe Bornhorst and Cole Ogden on our National team,” said Tommy Porfirio, VP Racing Fuels PowerMaster Director. “Both drivers have a wealth of knowledge and will bring more experience to our nitro off-road team.” Cole added:

Nejc Mihelic joins Xray

Xray have announced the addition of multi-times Austrian and Slovenian IC track champion, Nejc Mihelic to their team. The former ARC driver will campaign Xray’s RX8 platform at national and international events including the Austrian and Slovenian Nationals, the XRS as well as the ENS and he has the following to say:

Jake Mayo signs with FX Engines

FX Engines and RC America have announced the signing of US top driver, Jake Mayo to their team. Jake will be using FX engines to power his Xray rides for the 2019 season, attending races such as the Dirt Nitro Challenge and the ROAR nationals.

Nemo Racing sign Ben Sterling

Nemo Racing have announced the signing of Australia’s Ben Sterling to their factory team. The former HB Racing driver is considered one of Australia’s fastest 1/8th off-road racers and he will be using Agama kits in his campaign that will include all major Australian as well as international races.

Mon-Tech Racing sign Eric Dankel

Mon-Tech have announced the addition of German 1/10th on-road front runner, Eric Dankel to their team. The EFRA European 1/10th Nitro Touring vice-champion and double ENS champ will be using Mon-Tech Racing’s line of competition body shells to top off his Mugen rides and he has the following to say:

Riccardo Berton joins RC Concept electric team

RC Concept have announced the signing of Riccardo Berton to their electric factory team. The Kyosho factory driver will use RC Concept’s WTI brushless speed controllers, brushless motors, competition LiPo batteries and also RC Concept’s accessory line to power his 1/8th and 1/10th electric rides.

David Ronnefalk signs with Performa Racing

Newly-formed Performa Racing have announced the signing of World Champion racer David Ronnefalk to their factory team. The HB Racing factory pilot will race, test and help develop Performa Racing electric and nitro power units and accessories for off-road and on-road racing. Performa Racing’s Adrien Bertin says: “Over the past two years we have had great success with HB Racing, and some of our HB team drivers wanted to use a complete Neidhart SA package that included the car and power source. After some talk with Neidhart SA owner Philippe Neidhart, we decided that the Performa concept will work alongside HB Racing.” From elite world class racers like Ronnefalk to club racers around the world, Performa Racing is committed to deliver industry leading products developed by the most experienced designers and tested by the top racers in the R/C industry. Dominic Greiner leaves Novarossi

1/10th 200mm Nitro Touring benchmark driver, Serpent’s Dominic Greiner has announced his departure from Italian engine manufacturer Novarossi. The former IFMAR 1/10th 200mm World Champion leaves behind a very fruitful 3-year campaign with the brand, that culminated in the 2016 Worlds title, and he has the following to say about his departure:

With the season hopefully starts soon I would like to announce that I will no longer race for Novarossi engines. It was a difficult decision for me but it’s time for a change. We had grateful three years together and could win some big events including my first world championship title 1:10 in Italy 2016. I want to thank the whole Novarossi factory for the trust and the support. Especially to Daniele Ielasi for the work at the track and the time for improvements. News will follow soon.
