Yokomo sign Bartek Zambrzycki to their factory team

Yokomo have announced the signing of reigning Polish 2WD and 4WD Buggy National Champion, Bartek Zambrzycki to their factory team. The Polish frontrunner, who grew up racing Yokomo cars at events such as the ETS and EOS, will receive full factory support in his forthcoming campaign that will see appearances at national and international on-road and off-road events including as the ETS, EOS and the World Championships. Bartek had the following to say about the deal:

I am very happy continuing my RC adventure with Team Yokomo as factory team driver. Being part of such a great team of worlds finest RC pilots is very special to me. But it is not all. It is also to be part of the team of extraordinary people – my friends. I look forward to an exciting future, together with the Team Yokomo. Hobbywing sign Naoto Matsukura

Hobbywing have announced the signing of multi-time IFMAR World Champion, Naoto Matsukura to their factory team. The Infinity driver will use Hobbywing brushless speed controller and motors in all of his electric rides in 2017 and he has the following to say about the deal:

I am very happy to join Hobbywing team. I tested 1:10 off-road power combos last month and found it super good. Then I decided to use Hobbywing power in CETC first round to feel it on my touring car and it worked amazing. I think Hobbywing can provide me the best combos in all my electric classes. Julian Wong teams up with Maclan Racing

Maclan Racing have announced that US on-road front runner, Julian Wong, has joined the factory team for the 2017 season. Julian has been testing the MMax Pro speed controller and MRR4.5 motor for quite some time and with the signing of this contract, Julian will be racing at the 2017 Reedy Race and other major national events with the Maclan power system.

Capricorn welcome back Marc Fischer

Capricorn have announced the return of German frontrunner, Marc Fischer to their electric on-road racing team. After reaching the World Championship A-main in Beijing last August, Marc is ready to be back working together with the Italian company, racing and developing the TE-03 Evo platform through to 2018. Marc has the following to say about the deal:

I want to thank VBC, Victor Law and Carven for the short but good times. Now i am really looking forward to return to Capricorn after the A Main at the Worlds in China. I really want to thank Patrizio Rossi for the chance he gave me to race for him and for Capricorn one more time. My First Race with the TE-03 will be the ETS in Madrid, follow by the Euros, Reedy Race and all other ETS Races which will follow. I signed a contract until 2018 Worlds in South Africa, so I will have the time to prepare and am really happy about it.

Silvio Hächler O.S. powered for 2017

O.S. Engines welcome Merlin Depta

O.S. Engines have announced the addition of Germany’s Merlin Depta to their factory team. The German frontrunner, multiple ENS finalist, EFRA vice-European Champion and long-time Picco driver will power his Serpent rides with O.S. Speed engines from now on and he has the following to say about the deal:

I want to use this opportunity to thank Picco for their support during the last years as they have been my very first engine sponsor. Changing the brand of probably the most important component of the car needs to be a good choice. When I came into contact with O.S. Engines I was very satisfied with power and even more important reliability during a run.
