Xray welcome Philipp Guschl

Xray have announced the signing of Germany’s Philipp Guschl to their factory team. The former German National Champion and Euro B podium finisher will campaign Xray’s XB8 platform at regional, national and international events including the German Nationals and the European Championships B. Philipp says:

Since ever I have admired Xray for their highest quality products and the work the team puts into making their cars updated and faster every year. The professionalism of the company and the service they provide makes me safe for my further growth as a driver. I am very happy for this opportunity and trust that Xray and SMI put it me. I will do my best to represent the team in the races and of course to help everyone around.

World Champion Products welcome Billy Easton

World Champion Products have announced the addition of veteran US racer, Billy Easton to their team. The Serpent designer and factory team driver will use the VS Racing buggy engines and tuned pipes in his 2017 1/8th nitro off-road campaign.

Pepe Group have announced the signing of French talent, Leo Arnold to the Energy Fuel team. The former ENS A-main finalist and French Champion will use the complete range of Energy Fuel products in his 2017 on-road campaign.

Thilo Tödtmann joins Shepherd

Shepherd have announced the signing of Germany’s Thilo Tödtmann to their team. The former Capricorn factory driver has inked a long term contract to represent the Shepherd brand. A regular ENS and Euros A-finalist and former EFRA Euro-B champion, Thilo will campaign the Velox V10 “WC” 200mm platform while also running the Velox F1 at selected events. Thilo says:

First of all I want to thank Patrizio Rossi from Capricorn for his support and help during the last 2 1/2 years on and off the racetrack. He is a well known character and I improved my racing and my knowledge during that time. Nevertheless I felt it was time for a change and now I am very excited to rejoin Team Shepherd. Racing and learning in such a strong team with a great history of inventing, development and design is a opportunity which I take gratefully.

Modelix Racing add Yannick Aigoin to their factory team

Modelix Racing have welcomed French frontrunner, Yannick Aigoin to their world-wide team. The Xray factory driver is backed by multiple national and international titles and he already used Ultimate Racing engines in the past, but the former Pro-Line driver will now also roll on Procircuit tyres while also helping with research and development of upcoming products.

Walter Floris Alpha-powered for 2017

Italian Alpha distributor Planet Racing has announced the signing of Italian off-road frontrunner, Walter Floris to the Alpha Power racing team for the 2017 season. Walter and his mechanics will take part at all major national events while also giving support to Alpha customers and to the growing Italian team.

Xray welcome Armand Lantheaume to their factory team

Xray have announced the signing of former French Champion, Armand Lantheaume to their factory team for the 2017 season. Armand will race the XB2 and XB4 platforms at both national and international level events and he has the following to say:

After extensive testing of all Xray cars last year I was just amazed by the performance and quality of the cars and I am really happy that I was given the opportunity to be part of the Xray team for 2017. I will attend all the major French races and will do my best both in racing as well helping all Xray customers. Big thanks to Xray for the trust in me and I cannot wait to hit the track.

Alberto Picco signs with Creation Model/Infinity

Creation Model have announced the addition of Italy’s Alberto Picco to the Infinity factory team. The multi-time Euros and Worlds finalist leaves behind many years as an independent driver and he will use Infinity’s 1/8th on-road kits from now on. His campaign will include both national and international events and Creation Model are looking forward to a successful 2017 and beyond.
