Steven Olsen joins Xray Factory Team

Steven Olsen joins Xray Factory Team

Xray have announced Danish racer Steven Olsen as the latest addition to their Factory Team. The Danish Touring Stock vice-champion will use the company’s T4 touring car in his upcoming campaign that will include the Danish Outdoor and Indoor Nationals, the Nordic Championships as well as selected ETS events. Steven says:

After driving for many different manufactures the last 3 years, I was never really satisfied with the performances of the cars and always missed the performance of my old Xray cars. These experiences caused me to get back to Xray cars. After the testing of the newest Xray T4’16 I had improved my pace from the first battery. This car has so much grip and corner speed and responses very well on setup changes. Driving the best quality cars on the market and the constant development of the cars is very important for me because I just only need to focus on racing and never worry about the durability and quality of the cars. I would like to thank everyone involved in making this possible and I can’t wait to start working together with the team.

fri_alessio-3-770x462

Serpent have opened the 2016 Euro Nitro Series season with a strong show of force as their drivers locked out the Top 3 in controlled practice in Bologna, Italy, this morning.  With drivers getting two rounds of controlled practice which will determine the heat seeding, it was last year’s season finale winner Alessio Mazzeo who set the pace around the high speed L.Collari RC Raceway.  Behind the Italian it was Mark Green, just 0.049 of a second off over 3-laps, with Serpent’s 2015 title contender Dominic Greiner on a further 0.075 adrift.  Best of the rest would be Erik Dankel, the 2014 ENS Champion making a good start to his Mugen debut with only 0.029 his deficit to Greiner.
