Xray have announced the 2019/20 Xray Racing Series Slovakia. The 6-race series kicks off on the weekend of the 12th of October and runs through to March with all rounds held at the Hudy Arena in Trencin. Open to onroad and offroad classes, there are races for 1/10th TC Mod & Stock 13.5, 1/10th & 1/12th pan car, Formula 21.5, 1/12th GT and 1/10th FWD as we as 2wd and 4wd buggy, truck class and 1/10th truggy.

Nemo Racing have announced the addition of Jessica Palsson to their factory team. After the final round of the Swedish cup Jessica will be using the newly released Agama A319 powered by Bullitt motors as well as running the upcoming A319e electric buggy – to add to her impressive list of race wins and championships. Her progress to towards the top of the sport has been rapid and Nemo Racing can’t wait to help contribute to her success. Jessica says:

Round 6 of the 2019 JBRL Electric Off-Road Series was held at Freedom Park Raceway in Camarillo, California last weekend, attracting nearly 150 entries. The premier 2WD Open Buggy class saw Carlos Arredondo walking away with the win from Tyler Fenster in 2nd and Luke Kalaitzian in 3rd.
HB Racing have announced the signing of Indonesian off-road star, Jason Nugroho to their team. Jason will use the D819 1/8th scale and D418 1/10th scale buggies at national Indonesian events as well as major events around the world. His vast racing experience will be a valuable addition to the team with Jason having already scored some high-class race results around Asia.

Round 4 of the 2019 Speed King Tour was held at the NEXT circuit in the Chiba prefecture recently. Thanks to being located quite close to the Narita International Airport the race was easy to reach for drivers from far away and another plus was the quite new and very smooth surface that made for a lot of high-speed battles throughout the field. Classes run this time were Touring Modified and Touring Stock with the Oval category being scrapped this time due to the track layout. Yokomo driver Hayato Ishioka showed his speed right from the free practice on and he took the TQ in all three qualifying rounds of Touring Modified. Hayato also clocked the fastest lap time in the “Super Lap” session for the top 5 qualifiers to take the pole position for the single A-main.

Schumacher have announced the popular Schumacher GP Series for the coming 2019/20 indoor season. The 3-race series will be held at the MB Raceway in Leeds and will cater for GT12, Touring 17.5T Blinky Hobbywing Handout, Touring 13.5T Blinky, and LMP12 classes. All classes will run to BRCA Rules, the GT12 class will run on Contact “Green Stripe” the Touring class on Sorex XG-28RK and LMP12 on “Orange Stripe” control tyres. There will be a 100 driver limit, initially 50 x GT12, 16 x 17.5T Hobbywing Handout Touring, 24 x 13.5T Touring, 10 x LMP12. Round 4 of the 2019 Swiss Electric On-road Nationals was held at the Mini Racing Cars Aigle & Lausanne club last weekend. In the Touring Pro Stock class it was Awesomatix’s Boris Siladi with a near clean sweep in the qualifiers, taking three of the four rounds for the overall TQ from Xray’s Cham Dassanayake, who won a single qualifying round. The triple A-mains then saw more dominating runs from Boris who took wins in all three mains for the overall from Cham on the runner-up spot. Cédric Ansermoz (Awesomatix) would come in 3rd to round out the podium. With the win at round 4 Boris would also wrap up the overall title, making it a back-to-back championship after taking home the indoor title earlier this year.

Oli Meggitt and the EWS Events team have announced the details of the 2019/2020 Essex Winter Series. Now entering its ninth season, the championship will take place at the regular EWS indoor venue in the South-East of the UK. The championship will consist of five rounds, starting in October and running through to March. There will be classes for Modified and Super Stock 13.5 Blinky touring car, running on the EWS Sweep controlled tyre, along with Front Wheel Drive (17.5 handout motor), using the popular Ride tyre. A controlled additive will be in place this year to help provide the best possible grip on the ETS carpet used for the track.
