Schumacher sign Daniel Kobbevik

Schumacher Racing have welcomed top Norwegian driver Daniel Kobbevik to their team. Daniel strengthens an already stellar European line up and will be travelling to races Worldwide. He has some great results to his name, TQ and 2nd place 2019 Euro’s 4WD, 4th place IFMAR 2019 Worlds 4WD, Multiple EOS podiums both 4WD and 2WD and 14 times Norwegian National Champion. Daniel had the following to say, ‘2022 will for sure be different and when I got the chance to join the already strong Schumacher team together with Jorn and Michal it was easy to jump on board. It will be exciting to see what we can do together with this new chapter in my career and will also be cool to work close with Tris and the rest of the team. Ryan Cavalieri joins Hobbywing Factory team

Hobbywing have announced that 4-time World champion Ryan Cavalieri has joined their factory team. The TLR driver will use Hobbywing ESCs and motors to participate in all electric car competitions going forward. ‘I’m really excited to be joining Hobbywing and being a part of the family. I would like to thank everyone at Hobbywing for making this possible. I will work closely with the team and help out in anyway to contribute to the already successful line up of products. I’m excited to get out there and start racing.’

Blake Champlin joins Schumacher

Schumacher Racing are extremely happy to welcome top USA racer Blake Champlin to the team. Blake will bring even more speed to the team and will further help support customers in the US and worldwide. Akio Sobue joins Axon

Axon have announced that Akio Sobue ha signed a multi-year contract starting in 2022. The main purpose of the contract is for him to work as an Axon driver, participating in races including big events, and at the same time he will be involved in Axon’s product development. Akio will be using the Axon TC10 in the main category of EP touring cars and will attend races both in Japan and overseas. This exclusive contract will accelerate the development of the TC10 and other Axon products, and will lead to further improvement of the brand.

Sunpadow Batteries sign Ryan Cavalieri

Sunpadow have announced that they have signed a contract with 4-time World Champion Ryan Cavalieri. The US driver is also a 29 times National Champion and winner of many other international prizes and in the new season, Ryan will use Sunpadow LiPo batteries to participate in all races.

Jamie & Tommy Hall join Associated Factory Race Team

Team Associated, Reedy Power and Factory Team have announced the graduation of UK based brothers, Jamie and Tommy Hall to the Factory Race Team. Starting their R/C journey in 2011 and gaining support from Associated’s British distributor CML, Jamie and Tommy have climbed the ranks in the 1:10 BRCA series while recently venturing in to the 1:8 category. Jamie and Tommy each have a very different approach to racing but they complement one another well. This has lead to rapid improvement and collectively succeeding at an International level. Tommy’s priorities are on racing and race craft whereas Jamie’s focus is on set-up and the technical aspects of the vehicles. Team Associated said ‘We welcome the Hall family to the team and look forward to a long and successful relationship’.

Kyle Branson joins Xray Factory team

Xray have announced that one of the UK’s top onroad drivers, Kyle Branson is joining their Factory Team to race the X4 and NT1 platforms. A World and European Vice Champion in the Nitro classes, he is also a multiple British National Champion and has been running a lot more EP Touring in recent years with much success. Kyle said:

I am very thankful for this great opportunity to be apart of the Xray team. With my main focus now going to electric touring car I knew that with the X4 platform and the untouchable support that Xray offer it was the logical choice to make. I will do my best for the team and work as hard as possible at all times. A big thanks to the whole Xray family and for putting their trust in me.
