As always at the ETS, the race included 4 rounds of qualifying followed by triple mains for everybody. Everything was prepared in a perfect way by the AMCA Apeldoorn and the amazing racetrack was awaiting all drivers. In the Matrix Modified class it was Xray’s Bruno Coelho who was able to win three rounds of qualifying with his teammate Alexander Hagberg taking the other round. BRCA Clubmans Rd5 Stafford – Report

Round 5 of the BRCA Clubmans saw the racers return to one of the real favourites on the calendar, Stafford RCMCC. A huge amount of work has been done to improve the facilities, including a brand-new rostrum with a roof, hopefully to keep the sun off of us. Disabled access is also now an option with a stair lift. The usual great comfort food was on site all weekend and they even sold fresh doughnut’s, how popular were these. Onto the racing and going into this round we were past the half way point of the Championship with top three places to play for in the three classes. The Frontie Class Championship still being up for grabs. 17.5 was looking good for Andy Murray. In Formula One for Luke Lee had already wrapped up the Championship but still in attendance for more track time. Stafford could see the remaining two Championship winners all being decided.

Branson & Murray win Rd4 while Jefferies secures title

The Cotswolds track hosted round four of the BRCA Touring Car series, a venue popular with UK drivers with a great layout and a good mix of fast and slow corners. Coming into this round the modified championship looked well within the grasp of Xray driver Olly Jefferies, given the way the points are allocated Jefferies would need just one more A final win to retain his modified title but there was strong opposition in his way from the likes of Chris Grainger, Kyle Branson and Zak smith, all four drivers had shown good speed in testing and this one looked hard to call.
