Georgiadis wins at Greek Touring Series Rd6

The Fanatix Racing Track in Athens played host for the 6th round of the Greek Touring Series. The race saw the attendance of Thilo Alexander Tödtmann who came all the way from Germany to attended the race and his efforts payed off as he was in the mix to grab the overall TQ but at the end Georgiadis claimed the pole position 0.2s from Thilo. The finals again had Georgiadis and Thilo fighting for the top spot with the better end for Georgiadis who took the overall win from the German guest with local young gun Niotis completing the top 3 result.

Nick Buechler takes NW Championship title

The final round of the Northwest Championship Tour was held in Pasco, WA this past weekend. In the 1/8th E-Buggy class Nick Buechler came out successful at the season finale in front of Jesse Munn and Jeremy Potter. The win also secured Nick the overall championship title from Jeremy and Jesse, who rounded out the top 3 in 2nd and 3rd respectively.

ETS Pilotrace Nürburgring – Report

The ETS pilotrace at the World-famous Nürburgring was held last weekend at the track side “Ring Boulevard”. Uwe Rheinard and his crew again did their magic to provide a nice and flowing layout laid out on a new carpet that will be in use in the upcoming season. Also in use was the new Ride hand-out tyre that was tested with very good results. In the Touring Car Modified class a bunch of internationally experienced racers signed in, such as Jan Ratheisky, Yannic Prümper, Dominick Fleischmann or Julian Borowski. After the end of the qualifiers Yannic Prümper put his car on pole position for the finals followed by Marco Kaufmann and Dominik Fleischmann.

Ehrbar & Benson win at Conrad TC Masters Rd3

The 3rd round of the 2014 Conrad Touring Car Masters was held at the 2010 IFMAR Worlds track in Burgdorf, Germany. In the Touring Car Modified class David Ehrbar (Serpent) took the win from the Xray duo of Steven Weiss and Uwe Reimers. The Stock class had Tim Benson (Xray) walking away with the win while Daniel Horn (Xray) and Henrik Heitsch (ARC) had to settle for 2nd and 3rd respectively.

Fai Ho wins at GM Touring Car Championship Rd3

The 3rd round of the GM Touring Car Championship was held at the Shenzen KRC track in Shenzhen, China. Fai Ho took the TQ after the qualifiers and also came out successful in the A-mains to take the win from Howard Cho in 2nd and Guo Yao Wei who rounded out the podium in 3rd.

Schöniger & Offner win at German 1/8th E-Buggy nats

The final of the German 1/8th E-Buggy nationals was held at the RC Racing Club Eisenach track this past weekend. The weather made for mixed conditions the whole weekend and especially the 40+ A-main was run in pretty severe rain. The man to beat during the weekend was Steven Schöniger who not only took TQ but also dominated the 15 minute final. In 2nd place seasoned racer, Daniel Reckward finished the main some 10 seconds behind Steven while Marvin Fritschler completed the top 3 result. Stefan Scheuenplug in 4th and Luca Jost in 5th position rounded out the top 5.

Bornhorst doubles at East Coast Race Against Cancer

The East Coast Race Against Cancer was held at McCullough’s RC Raceway with his year’s event drawing just over 250 entries among a number of different classes, the biggest being the 1/8 Electric Buggy and Truck. Tekno’s newly signed Joe Bornhorst was the man to beat in 1/8th E-Buggy and E-Truggy as he was able to set the TQ pace in both classes. In the 10 minute E-Buggy final Joe took off and never looked back, leaving Mike Speranza behind to take the win. In 3rd Paul Ciccarello rounded out the podium. In the 8 minute E-Truggy final Joe again lead the race from tone to tone to bring home the victory some 7 seconds in front of Anthony Mazzara and Mike Speranza.
