Hobbywing XeRun XR10 optional top case

Hobbywing XeRun XR10 optional top case

New from Hobbywing for their XeRun XR10 Pro ESC comes this optional top case. A direct replacement for the standard aluminium top case, this new version has a larger heatsink footprint, and so accepts a larger diameter fan than the standard version, as well as featuring taller fins for more surface area to improve cooling. In testing with their team drivers this optional item showed a significant drop in operating temperatures for the ESC which makes it ideal for tracks where the speedo would normally run hotter. Available in anodised black orĀ orange.

Maclan Racing MRR Team Edition brushless motors

Maclan Racing MRR Team Edition brushless motors

Maclan Racing have introduced the MRR Team Edition electric brushless motors. Based on the popular MRR platform the Team Edition utilises Japanese made steel stator material for the short stack style rotors. Custom-made copper wire also has a higher temperature threshold along with maximum diameter allowed by ROAR regulations. Overall the Team Edition has an average four percent lower internal resistance compared to the standard MRR series motors. Also part of the TE package are all-new hall sensors that are more accurate while offering a much higher speed polling rate which will provide quicker throttle response with higher top speeds. The hand-built motors will become available by late November.
