EcoPower Electron multi-chemistry chargers

A Main Hobbies introduce the EcoPower Electron 65 AC and 65 Quad multi-chemistry chargers for LiPo, LiFe and NiMH battery packs. Starting with the 65 AC, the charger works with 11 to 18VDC or 110 to 240VAC and delivers up to 5.0A of charging current. Featuring an on-board balancer, normal, fast and storage charge modes the charger handles up to 6S LiXX and 15 cell NiMH packs. Included with the charger come various charging harnesses and a 6S XH-style balancer board.

Stick Torke 4000mAh 30C LiPo packs

Team Torke got in touch to inform us that after EFRA and BRCA homologated their Full Torke 6500 70C LiPo, the company has released a new LiPo pack called Stick Torke. With 4000mah & 30C the LiPo packs are available with Tamiya plug or Deans connector.

Featuring a redesigned flat hard casing, increased run time and less resistance, they are available in 2 new versions. Firstly is the 6800mAh 7.4v 70C (EFRA-approved) stick pack which has maximum power and run time. Next up is a 4400mAh 7.4v 55C shorty pack with its super compact and lightweight design which allows you to play with the weight distribution of your car, especially useful for 1:10 2wd off-road cars, 1:10 pan cars and 1:10 F1 cars.

CS Electronic 7200mAh 150C LiPo pack

CS Electronic have released a new 7200mAh LiPo pack featuring the unique Silver Protect system. The addition of silver ions not only allows a much higher discharge power, up to 75C continuously with a maximum of 150C, but it also provides a lower internal resistance of the cells for a longer life span despite high charge rates. EFRA approved it comes with a hard case for protection and bullet connectors.

Vampire Racing stick pack LiPo batteries

For 2012 Vampire Racing took another step forward and introduced two new stick pack LiPo batteries. The first one, specifically designed for touring cars, is a 6800mAh 70C pack and will pump out massive power. The second battery is a 4400mAh 50C short stick pack. Team Orion Advantage Touch charger

The Advantage Touch charger is a new generation of high tech charger from Team Orion. Equipped with a touch sensitive color LCD screen and specialized touch software, it’s a brand new experience in the field of battery charging. The centre piece of this new charger is the Spectra TFT color touch screen which allows you to reach all the different features of the system with ease. The charger itself is an AC/DC unit with 0.1 to 5A output current and 0.1 to 1.0A discharge current and it can handle all the modern lithium based battery types up to 6 cells.
