ProTek R/C 70C LiPo battery packs

A Main Hobbies’ brand ProTek R/C have announced four new LiPo battery packs that boast an incredible 70C discharge rating. These ROAR Approved packs are available as 2S 6400mAh, 2S Shorty 4100mAh, 4S 6400mAh and 1S 5800mAh versions all with hard cases. ProTek RC offers a 50% Damage Replacement program for one year after original purchase date on all batteries that have been damaged due to impact, over-discharging, or improper charging that have not been modified or disassembled. The damaged battery will be replaced by a comparable battery at 50% off of its retail cost.

Dualsky 150A ESC & 6200mAh LiPo pack

Dualsky have introduced its new Track & Field 150A Brushless ESC suitable for 1/10 scale including 4WD short course. Designed with Ice Core 2 Cooling Technology and pre-installed with Ttronic V2.1 competition software, it comes with full metal shell for super cooling effect, small footprint, upgradable software (adjustable advance timing) and pre soldered 12AWG wire. QTEQ Power Terminal

QTEQ have released what they are calling the Power Terminal, which is essentially a means to connect the cables to your motor without the need to solder the joint. It consists of 3 parts, a device side part that is soldered to the motor’s power connections, a cable side part which is soldered to the cables and a set of 3 M2x10 screws that allow you to securely attach the wires to the motor. The end result is that the conductivity is comparable to that of directly solder systems.

Viper R/C have announced the release of their new VTX1 Sensored Brushless ESC. The VTX1’s all aluminium case disperses heat without the use of a fan and it comes preloaded with eight profiles which are all customizable for different applications, or add your own profile for a track or track condition. The VTX1 is designed for 1/12 and 1/10 scale on road applications without radio receiver pack, it is also a perfect option for competitive 1/10 high traction indoor clay off road racing. Easy Torke 5800mah 50C LiPo pack

Following on from their earlier release, Team Torke have introduced their Easy Torke LiPo which has been specially designed for high power and long duration. This 5800mAh 50C LiPo features a hard case and industry standard 4mm bullet connectors and will fit most of today’s 1/10th scale cars.

Viper VTX10 firmware update

Viper RC have announced a new firmware release for the Viper VTX10 and VTX 10R speed controllers. The latest new firmware A30 will have some new performance benchmark for drivers who demand the maximum performance on the tracks. The updates on the version A30 from current factory firmware A19 are a new radio calibration process, smart brake system, additional brake PWM frequency options and optimized boost performance.
