Speedzone 2S & 1S LiPo Battery connectors

Speedzone now offers a variety of connector options for LiPo batteries. First up is a standard length connector available with a balance plug, 4mm bullet connectors and a Deans type or Traxxas connector. These are also available without a balance plug for 1S applications, or for tight fitting areas. Next up are 85mm length connectors which are also available with Deans type or Traxxas connectors, with and without balance plugs. The shortened wire length allows these connectors to be used in places where room is an issue or gives the user a neat and compact finish to their wiring layout, while still using a plug and play connector for their battery packs. Connectors come with 12 gauge wire and can be used as a harness connector for hook-up to a charger or ESC. Speedzone also makes available their own low profile, low resistance 4mm male connectors. These types of connectors allow for soldering your wires at a 90 degree angle to the connector, permitting greater room for body and chassis clearance.

Novak Ballistic 8 & 8L sensored BL motors

Novak have shown off two exciting motors soon to join Novak’s popular line of Ballistic motors, the Ballistic 8 and Ballistic 8L Racing Sensored brushless motors. Similar to Novak’s best-selling Ballistic 540 and Ballistic 550 brushless motors, the new Ballistic 8’s will feature high performance, unmatched reliability and a cost-saving, rebuildable design. Components such as the rotor, sensor harness, bearings, and timing assembly can be replaced. The wound stator can even be interchanged to experiment with a different Kv wind. Additionally, Novak is committed to assuring customer’s that the complete-line of Ballistic replacement parts are available. Novak is also developing a compatible speed control—the Kinetic 4S Racing Sensored Brushless ESC. More information will be announced for this exciting new ESC as it becomes available.

Much More battery warming tray

Keep your battery pack warm under cold ambient temperatures with this battery warming tray from Much More. The Warming Tray is a warmer that can heat up your battery packs (LiPo or NiMh) before charging in the winter season. Cold batteries may lose punch, which means lower average voltage than usual, if you charge without any warming. The Warming Tray can be connected to Cell Master charger or Warmer Controller 3080 and it has a thermic wire inside and will keep target temperature where you set to. Protek R/C Super Pro 1000 power supply

A Main Hobbies have announced the new Protek R/C Super Pro 1000 power supply. The Super Pro 1000 is a regulated DC power supply with USB charging port and a total of five power outputs. This is the same as their powerful Super Pro 40 power supply but with twice the power and increased flexibility.
